Great! So much so that I decided to upgrade and change-out my garage doors.

This was the second time we used Jay's Garage Door, and we were just as pleased as the first time. About 7 years ago, Jay's replaced a garage door and it has been working perfectly. Recently, they installed an insulation package for the door that looks great and exceeded my expectations. They also installed a new GDO and tuned the existing door. They were informative, prompt, and easy to work with. Excellent workmanship and value. We will definitely use them again.

Jay was amazing! Finding an honest garage door repair person who won't take u for big $$$ & actually knows what they are doing is next to impossible! Jay is an old fashioned true tradesman- he knew just what needed to be fixed & didn't try to sell us a new door we couldn't afford. He even had an old scrap panel to replace our damaged one! He came out immediately- within 30 minutes of my call, as it was an emergency- the door was precariously hanging in pieces, rails bent. I couldn't recommend him more highly. His price was more than reasonable & our garage door has NEVER worked so well! We are grateful! He is honest & so knowledgeable! Best garage door repair person I have EVER come across! Don't be taken by the big companies- offering various "specials". Jay will do it right & not charge excessively! He's just a great guy all the way around!

We had Jay out to give us a quote on replacing both of our garage doors with high-end custom doors to upgrade the look of our home. Jay came right out, heard what we wanted, inspected the doors, and then explained all of our options to either replace or repair. In the end, we worked with Jay to repair and upgrade our current doors and he saved us several thousand dollars. He was great to work with, kept us updated during the parts ordering, and did high quality work. I can't recommend him enough. He also gave us great advice on how to keep everything working well so we don't have to call him for a few years!

He did an excellent job.  The door looks just like the old one, but is more durable.  It matches the house perfectly and goes up and down smoothly and quietly.  The installation was professionally done and I could not be more pleased.  I would definitely recommend Jay's Garage Door Service.

He did a good job. We have a double garage door and it has coil springs on the top. Those springs broke so he had to replace the coil springs. It was my daughters house and I didn't have any contact other than she was very happy with what he did. He followed his estimate so we were both happy about that.

The symptoms were understood thoroughly. The fix and and maintenance actions were explained and my many questions were answered with lots of experienced knowledge and professional patience, exceeding my expectations.

On 10-12-2011, with my car safely in the garage, I pushed the button to remotely close the garage door. The door went down only partially when .I heard a terrible noise.  Upon examination, I found that the door had jumped out of the track causing the top section to fall on one side and caused the entire double garage door to be at an angle . The tracks on both sides were pushed out and some of the rollers were out and some were loose..  A neighbor helped disable the remote and manually pushed the garage door up so I could get my car out of the garage. (Thank goodness the door did not fall at that time!)  Then we got the door to close.  I called Jay's Garage Door  Service the morning of the 13th. I had found his name in Angie's list. Owner Jay Harrington answered the telephone, listened to my problem and said he would send out Bart, one of the men who worked with him. Shortly after I spoke with Jay, Bart called to say he would be out at 3pm. Just before three, Bart called to say he was on the way. He arrived in a few minutes and began to assess the problem.
Bart was was able to disassemble the door, realign and stabilize the tracks,  replace the rollers, realign and stabilize the bars holding the tracks and reset the door. He said the problem was that during the original installation of the door it was not aligned correctly. Over time, the rollers just worked themselves out of their correct positions and jumped the track. Bart was extremely courteous and very professional. He worked continuously  until he completed the job and the door passed several testings.
Bart also gave me several pointers for maintaining the garage door 
 I had thought I would need to replace the entire door so imagine my pleasure of paying a repair bill instead of a replacement bill. 
I am one happy customer and will most certainly recommend Jay's Garage door Service to anyone who needs help.

Excellent Service, Very Professional, Performed the service exactly as they described. This is the second time to use them and I will use them again should the need arise.

Jay was able to quickly ascertain the problem with my opener and fix it. He also and showed me how to fix it myself in the future if needed. Jay oiled the springs, etc.and gave me useful information on future maintenance of the door and its parts. He also instructed me on how to program an extra remote for my opener.

Project went well. Took about 45 minutes and everything was back up and running like new.

Called Jay's Garage Door Service on Saturday, July 25th to arrange for repairs and spoke to Jay(the owner). Jay's calendar for Saturday was pretty full, so we set up an appointment for Monday, July 28th at 2:00 PM. When I arrived home slightly before 2, Jay was already at my home and ready to work. Not only did Jay replace both torsion springs, but he also did a full inspection on the garage door and the operating mechanisms. He made numerous adjustments, including oiling all pulleys, adjusting both tracks, adjusting the range of travel for the door itself, and even replaced some missing screws in the weatherstripping at the bottom of the garage door. In other words, he fixed problems that we didn't even know we had, and did it all for the cost of the original estimate. I cannot say enough good things about the quality of service that I received.

Jay arrived promptly and proved to be very professional and efficient. He explained everything that was wrong very clearly and fixed the problems in an expeditious and professional manner. He remounted my garage door opener and replace defective parts, plus he added an outside keypad so that we could gain entry into our house through the garage.

I was pleased they were able to come within two days of my call. The door works just fine again and I would recommend their services.

Man came, determined problem and fixed it. He cleaned up the doors by adjusting and oiling and greasing, kind of a maintenance check also. He was very punctual and professional and polite.

He totally explained the problem with the tension spring and what would be needed to correct the problem. He did a great job.

His prices were very reasonable, and he was able to explain the specific difference in garage door openers and their frequencies. The installation was scheduled as soon as a day and time were set. The installer was on time. It was a small and simple job, but he cleaned up any mess.
