Very happy with end results and with total experience. Would definitely recommend them and would use them again.
A couple of times I changed my mind on what I wanted and what was originally ordered and they were more than accommodating. Even installed some stone on a wall and decided it wasn't want I wanted and they made the changes.
They put in the new cabinet and as well as the others....this all looked good and we called our fabricators ...when the fabricators came in, it was discovered that they had ordered the corner sink cabinet in a size too small....a standard size sink would not fit...to try to correct their error they installed a larger than ordered cabinet next to the sink and put the smaller cabinet in my island and added spacers to make it fit.
The owner was again called out and wanted me to use a smaller than standard sink...we told him no....3 cabinets had to be rearranged to make things work...they came out and made these changes ..this again added another week to the project.
Last night we found a cracked cabinet which they came out and fixed this am....as of now they still have unfinished trim work
one cabinet with a huge scratch in it and the hood vent that they built has nail holes showing on all sides.
He was told by my husband to not charge the final installation fee to our credit card until the job was finished and until we had a final walk thru.
He ignored being told this and charged our card anyway...saying he was finished....we are currently in dispute with the credit card until he finishes the job.
Very responsive and helpful on the proposal stage. Pricing competitive; project stayed on schedule. Quality of trade work varied. Stone & tile crews were very good, as was the plumber and carpenter. Painting crew was well intended, but took unnecessary short cuts that detracted from the quality, and required re-work on several occasions.
Two areas of caution. First, be absolutely sure to get all commitments and expectations in writing with pricing. We experienced too many "after the fact" discrepancies between our verbal agreements and the original quote. Also, be aware that their project management is lacking, as no one is assigned to the job on-site throughout the duration of the project, so their is a serious lack of communication regarding day-to-day issues. This was problematic.
It just wasn't done timely. I mean, the people were nice and everything, it is just when I would go home to check things they were not done properly. I would have to call and they would come back and would do the job. I just did not think I had to be on their b*tts to get done what they were supposed to get done because I don't live in Texas and my house was in Texas. I would come home and check on things and pay them over the phone, then when I got home everything that should have been done was not done. That was irritating. The pricing was a little high. They were very professional when I spoke to them and went to their office and stuff.
everything went very well. We were under a very tight time line in that we were selling the house and needed updates within two days. Dream Kitchens was able to have all materials and the installers/painters there early day one and were complete with all tasks by 5pm the second day.
The work was very high quality, the installers and painters were very good and professional and did work that they didn't have to such as installing the dishwasher and stove.
This is the second time I have used them and have been very satisfied both times.
When you go in the store or call be sure to ask for Steven.
The workmanship of all the guys is top notch. They all work directly for the company.
Whatever concerns I had, or ideas everyone was very receptive. If I needed help with anything or wanted to change anything, this was also painless. I am sooo happy with my bathroom. Its beautiful and I cannot find one thing wrong. I am already planning my next 2 projects with them. I highly recommend them. Am having the neighbors over for a "Viewing." LOVE IT!
The island was brought in and silstone was placed. No issues easy.
Emad, and Stephen thank you for your help and making this process easy.
To our dismay, we never spoke to Stephen again. If we ever went into their showroom, Emad, the owner, would be our contact from that point on as well as a man named Nick who was introduced as the "project manager" but really did not say much through the whole process. We did want a wall moved and the owner, Emad contacted us and showed us how it would be done and the extra charge. We agreed and that part of the remodel went smoothly.
Since we were not living in the house at the time, we would go in the evenings to check on the progress. Whatever concerns we would have, we would contact Emad the next day. We kept noticing that any cabinets that were being installed either were crooked or not working correctly or had splinters in the wood that were very noticeable. I will say he was always available, but always seemed to dismiss us explaining that it was not complete and "it will be beautiful" in the end. So, we started to get a bit frustrated with this job after about three weeks but kept trusting him that it would be "beautiful" in the end.
The job completely fell apart when the granite was installed. We chose a piece from their granite yard. We were at the house the day the granite guy, Carlos, showed up to measure for the granite. He came with a sheet of paper and a tape measure and was at the house for 10 minutes. After researching installation and fabrication of granite, if anyone shows up to measure for granite with just a tape measure, FIND ANOTHER COMPANY! He complained about the peninsula not being level near the sink and told us the one slab we picked would not be enough for the countertops. I met with Emad the next morning in the showroom and expressed my concern about needing to pick out more slabs that matched. He assured me he has many slabs of this kind and again "it would be beautiful" in the end. Now red flags are flying about this whole project because he was not listening to us and our concerns.
So, the granite got laid and come to find out the two slabs they used have completely different patterns and one is 1/8th inch difference in thickness. This might not of been too noticeable but he split up the pieces so where they met it was significantly uneven. The seams look horrible and the flow of the granite at the seams on one side is going downward and the other side is horizontal. One end of the peninsula is not even touching the cabinets and sits a half inch above it. The reveal in the sink is different inches over the sink in different places and there is silicon around the undermount sink that is a quarter of an inch visible. We immediately had Emad meet us at the house and he said Carlos needed to fix the unevenness of the thickness. So, Carlos comes out a few days later and grinds the underneath of the countertops to try to make them even. This completely RUINS them because now the bottom of the granite where it meets the cabinets is not straight at all and in one place above the microwave drawer is very thin now which makes the microwave drawer look crooked. Not to mention the brand new Bosch appliances are scratched which we can only figure happened when he grinded down the countertops and didn't even pull out the appliances. We are livid at this time and have Emad out again. We show him all the mistakes. Carlos shows up with a bad attitude as well and Emad says Carlos will be out again in a few days to clean it up and make it better.
During this time, we really tried to make the best of it until we realize this was shoddy work and it is not fixable and to not even send Carlos back out for fear of ruining it more. We contact Emad and told him he needs to come look at all the mistakes again and we need to come to an agreement on pricing since we still owed the last installment for the job.
So, all of a sudden, Emad says he is not available that whole week and will get back to us. This was very strange as he was always very responsive when we needed him for 5 weeks prior. He finally calls and agrees to meet with us a week later. We again, start pointing out the ruined granite and he tells is " this wasn't his guys best work, but anyone who comes in the house would never notice the mistakes". We could care less who notices it, we were not going to pay for shoddy work and we would notice it everyday! This meeting became VERY confrontational and we could tell all he wanted was his money as he proceeds to pull out all the invoices. Now, we find, he has been adding and changing the invoices we originally agreed upon with Stephen instead of billing for the extras that came about on separate invoices. He even had the nerve to add a few more square feet to the granite on the original invoice because he said that had changed which makes no sense because we actually changed the size of the granite peninsula to a smaller footprint. When a company measures for sq footage for a remodel they need to get it right the first time or eat the cost if they can't do simple math. His solution was he couldn't redo the granite so he would take 1000.00 off the final bill. He had already added 1000.00 over it before he even came to the house. We said either you replace this granite or we aren't paying for it. He is now accusing us of stealing from him and he has employees to feed. I seem to remember another review on here with a similar experience with this man. We finally came to an agreement on the final bill just to get him out of our house and our life. So, now we are living in the house and getting ready for another company to tear out all this granite and start over. This company should be called Nightmare Kitchen and Bath. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER USING THEM!!!

The double-vanity cabinet from the showroom is absolutely stunning and gives us a lot more storage than we had before. With all of the granite options to choose from, I am so pleased with the "verde butterfly" style that goes beautifully with the vanity cabinet and my bedroom furniture too. (even my husband said the bathroom reminded him of a fancy 5 star hotel...and that says a lot coming from him! : )
I am so impressed and pleased with the results, I am having the downstairs bathroom remodeled to match....and in the kitchen, matching the tile and re-doing the backsplash with the help of Amine Rama's design ideas/recommendations for a complimentary pattern to my existing cabinets and granite.
Emad, Steve and Nick were a pleasure to work with. They have since completed work in our other two bathrooms...
"Thank you so much for the nice review and we are looking forward to working with you in the future projects."
