We were told that they would be having the local utilities come out to mark our utilities and then would schedule their arrival to demo the fence. We called them after almost 2 weeks, to find out when they were planning to come and do the work, and were told "Oh, didn't anyone tell you that they'll be there this morning?" It was already 10am and they weren't there... PLUS, we hadn't seen anything from the utilities people, because it had been raining and they couldn't mark for utilities in the rain -- we'd simply called to get the schedule, because nobody had called us, and this was sprung on us. They came out, and it was pouring down rain and they were using power tools in the POURING RAIN. The workers on site were very good, but we don't speak Spanish, and the crew didn't speak any English, so we were completely unable to communicate with one another. At the end of the day, we were exhausted because they'd given us no warning and we were out there trying to cut down palm trees that had grown behind the fence while they were demolishing the fence, so that they'd have a cleared area to put the new fence up... again, because NO communication on scheduling. When we called the office to ask about both the men working with heavy tools (unsafely) in the pouring rain AND the failure to notify us at all in advance that they were coming, they called us back to inform us that the workers would be continuing -- no more communication than that. They told us they'd have the old fence down and new fence installed the same day, but they didn't show up until after 1pm, then had to go buy supplies, which took another hour, so they weren't finished at the end of the day. We called the salesman who had booked them, and the main office, and fired the company that evening, because I'd never seen such a lack of professionalism in my life.
