Sheila S was absolutely wonderful and so were the two installers. She helped us select beautiful fabrics and blinds. The custom made drapes and rods are exactly what our home needed and the blinds are so much nicer than the previous venetian blinds. Every detail was perfect.

Sheila of Custom Window Wear showed up on time for providing an estimate.  At that time, she performed all the measurements.
After I received the estimate, I called her to go ahead with the order.  The blinds arrived and were installed.  After the installation, I noticed that the egress window will not open with the blinds installed.  The blinds are very difficult to remove, so it would not be possible in an emergency to remove the blinds and use the egress window.

I called Sheila and told her of the problem.  She sent me an email that stated that there is no way to fix it.  We had to pay full price, and one of the blinds has to be thrown out.

I believe a professional window treatment company should have provided expert service that would have included verifying that the window treatment allowed the window to open.

Sheila is a professional and made this process very easy. She came to my home the first time to see the room, to listen to what I was wanting in the room, shared her ideas for design, discussed drapery types, fabrics, and pricing, She took measurements and photos. Her second visit she brought samples of rods to finalize the design type, color, and material. She presented various price ranges as well. The rods took some time to be made, which I was made aware of prior to ordering them, but they really fit beautifully in the room and add even more to the look of the draperies. The installer did a wonderful job as well installing and modifying the rods somewhat to fit even better and even fixed one of my window blinds that was broken. I could not have asked for a more pleasant experience and my dining room drapes look beautiful.

I've gone ten years with just blinds on the main floor of my townhome.  I can't believe what a difference the valances have made to the whole look of the room.  They're perfect!  Thank you, WindowWears!
