B & B PLUMBING

Very responsive and thorough job.  We tried first the most cost-effective solution that *could* have solved the problem.  I was told it may not work due to recent remodeling and I was OK with it.    The solution did not work, but I was given a good discount to go the more expensive and complicated route.   No problems since and I am happy with the service.  Will definitely use them in the future.

After hours weekend call, B&B was the only responder to our plea for help. We had a leak in the wall behind the washer which required the wall be cut into the day after it was painted. The plumber was able to temporarily pair at night and complete the more extensive work in the morning with as little damage to the wall as possible. His charges were reasonable considering the hour he as called. Very polite, timely, and nice guy. Got the job done!

While they had a good rating on Angie's list (100%) and had been in business for 6 years, when I checked BBB they had an "F" rating. So I decided to pass on them.

Quote on Monday, install on Tuesday. Work was first class as well as the service. They removed my 2 old water heaters, installed the tankless water heater, installed a water filter, installed automatic cut off switch, and ran the gas line and electric to the new tankless water heater. They also fix my roof, talk about going the extra mile. These guys are great. 

B&B plumping came out to my house on 5-23 to fix a leaky faucet in my hall bathroom.  I was not home for most of the visit but my Mother was at my house. After the tech left my Mom told me the he asked her if she was married and she told him yes.  He still made advances towards her and touched her rear end as well as making sexual comments while trying to fit piping back into the shower.  I am so very upset at the way my Mother was treated!
I arrived home after he was already there, he was parked in my drive way so I could not pull my car into my garage until he left to get a part.  He was gone for more than an hour to get the part.  I left to take my dogs to the dog park and my Mom stayed at the house (at this time I was not aware of his behavior otherwise I would have stayed).  I left my credit card for payment as their site shows they accept credit cards.  When it came time for the tech to leave he said he did not take credit cards and instead of charging the $225 that was quoted he changed it to $235.  He ended up writing my credit card number and expiration date on the invoice.  The invoice does not show what part was replaced or how much it cost, the only thing shown is a total cost that he wrote in after my Mom refused to sign off on the work because no amount was filled in.
Now the hot and cold water in the hall bathroom shower is backwards and the master bathroom does not have any water pressure.  I have contacted the company via their website form requesting a more respectable tech come out and repair what the other tech didn't fix correctly free of charge.  I will update the review if\when I get a response from the company. 

** Update **
I finally heard back from B&B on June 4th regarding my complaint I submitted.  I was emailed:

"Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you please call me alonso at 281 323 0255 so we can set an appt that will work for both. Thank you"

I called Alonso and he apologized for his techs behavior and said he would personally come out to
my house on Wednesday June 5th at 6pm to look over my issues.  On Wednesday I waited for him to show up but he never did.  Around 6:30 my dogs kept going to the garage door and front door and sniffing like someone was in there, I opened the garage door and looked out and saw a white pickup truck in my drive way but I didn?t see anyone in or around it.  I opened my
front door and a guy was standing on the porch.  He did not have any type of uniform or ID badge but said he was from
B&B.  He was not Alonso and he was not comfortable speaking English, since I don?t speak Spanish it was difficult
to explain my problems.  He had to call his boss Alonso who then apologized he could not be there and translated my
problem to his tech.  

The tech had dried mud\dirt all over his boots and pants which tracked all through my house and he didn?t bother trying to clean it up or apologize for the mess he caused.  The problem with the water flowing out of my master bathroom sink was resolved.  The lever in the hall shower is still not the same as it was before. 

I also have a problem with my master bathroom sink draining and master shower water flow issue when trying to switch to shower mode. I wanted him to look at those issues; again we had to get his boss to translate.  Alonso told me his tech did not have the parts to fix my master show and that he (Alonso) would come out to my house on Friday with the parts and fix my master show issue.  I asked him what time and he said he would call me and set up a time.  So far it?s now Friday morning at 9:30 am and I have not received any phone calls or emails to set up a time with Alonso.  


* Update * 
I never heard back from this company again.  I tried to give them a second chance but they failed.

His sheetrock repair guy made it so good that we cannot find where he did his work even knowing where it took place.   His sheetrock guy was far better than my recent use of Angie's List 2011 "Super Service" award bathroom renovation contractor's sheetrock guy (prompting me to go back and find B&B on Angie's list and add this review). 
Alonzo came one year later as promised and cleaned the scale from the tankless water heater element, showing me how to do it and leaving the remainder of the chemicals necessary... all no charge.   No leaks, better performance, excellent service, always on time, and thoroughly professional.  In my experience, they are simply the best!

They showed up relatively quickly and seemed like they new what they were doing. The replaced the water heator. They also fixed two pipes that went to the bathroom fromt he water heator. It was very expensive based on other information I received from people I know who have had similar situations. It was more than double charged for the water heator.
