1488 Collision

Everything was good. We went in and got our estimate. I asked them when it could be done. They told me when it could be done it could be done the next week. That was very agreeable because I wanted to get it done as soon as possible. They got to it and did it. They did a good job. I was very impressed with them. I would go back to them, but I hope I don't. They had a very crowded entryway into their place. Since then, they are expanding, and they have another big building west of where they are now, so it's going to be much better.

3 years ago I recommended this provider on Angies List.  Around the time of my accident I recommended 1488 collision to my neighbor for repairs on their car after an accident.  Both my neighbor and I had car accidents within a week of each other.  We both brought our vehicles to 1488 collision.  My neighbors car had the rim painted the wrong color and it was never corrected.  My vehicle was repaired but they did not finish well.  The door protector strip on the door was not returned to normal order and they declined to fix it after I pointed out the missing strip.  Additionally, the cover ($1,000 new) on the back of my truck is damaged where I did not recognize it until a month after the repair.  1488 is quick, responsive, but beholden to insurance companies like every other big body shop.  I no longer can recommend this shop to my neighbors, they've just grown too big and lost the personal touch.

Courtesy driver dropped me off at home after I dropped my vehicle off.  Work was done on time and flawlessly.  Will use again given the opportunity.

It took them 4 months to do a job that was supposed to take three weeks. They ordered the aftermarket parts. They said that initially we were being overly picky. The insurance adjuster also agreed with us that what they were doing wasn't right.

Jeremy eventually made everything right but it took much longer than it should have.

I have used 1488 Collision a total of three times.  I have always been very impressed with their service.  They are courteous, honest and prompt.  However, we have noticed some issues with the quality of the work.  I had to take the car back three times because the bumper kept popping out.  I also noticed smudges in paint touch ups.  They always do their best to fix the issues, so overall, I still believe they are a good choice.

I've used them twice in the last year for small repairs.  Good service-fair price (not inexpensive, but fair).  Their staff was friendly, responsive and quick to please.  I dropped my vehicle off and they drove me home and picked me up when repair was completed.  When I noticed a small, hard to see, (down low on a white car),  unbuffed out spot, they immediate pulled my vehicle in and happily fixed my complaint.
I would use these folks again.

Dropped by to get an estimate which I thought was reasonable after having received two others. Made an appt at my convenience to drop the car off on a Monday. They took me to an Enterprise car rental store about a half mile away and I received an excellent rate. The car repair & painting took one day longer than expected but that was due to weather & they let me know ASAP. When I picked up the car, we did a walk around inspection and everything was in good order. They had even vacuumed the inside & washed the outside. I received a discount by using their online coupon. I left the rental car with them, which they returned, & left in my vehicle which saved me the hassle of a return. From start to finish, their attitude was professional and they were courteous. Plus they did a wonderful job on the car. I would recommend them most highly & wish they were in the car tuneup business.

1488 Collision did a good job replacing the door and dealing with insurance.  Their prices seemed reasonable in comparison to competitors, plus they were very responsive and willing to help.

They were awesome.  They were really nice and awesome people; they were really good people.  They did a great job.  I was totally satisfied with what they did.  I would definitely recommend others to try them out.

Took the truck in last week, got the quote, approved the job. The company gave me a ride home and the work began. Was supposed to be done by Friday of last week but a strong winter storm dropped snow, sleet, and hail on our area and the mechanics couldn't get in to work, happened again on Monday of this week. This morning, Tuesday, 01/28/2014 they called to say the truck was ready. Unfortunately we had another bad winter storm last night so had to wait until 4 pm for the the roads to thaw and dry. Picked up the truck after checking it out and the company had done a very good job, truck looks like new again. Truck is a 2007 Dodge Dakota ST club cab with only 19000 miles on it. I am very pleased with the job 1488 Collision crew did and highly recommend them to others. The price was reasonable and the work was excellent. I hope I never need them again but would go to them if necessary and recommend them highly for the precision work they do and, in addition, they are very friendly.

The work was done in 3 days (start to finish).  I was offered a ride to drop my rental car off so I could come back and get my vehicle and the entire team at 1488 Collision was friendly and professional.

1488 Collision found a bumper for my 11-year-old Subaru in less than a week (no small feat in Texas) and replaced the entire thing quickly and beautifully. The staff was extremely helpful with providing accurate time tables and even a ride to the rental car company. The car looks fantastic! They met the estimate provided by the insurance company, so I can't say much as to price other than "as expected." I would not hesitate to use them again!

Was greeted by a professional who wrote a quote for work requested. I called and scheduled a day and time for work to be done. I was able to bring my car in within 2 days. I dropped the car off Monday morning, the work was complete by Tuesday afternoon. I could not be happier. If I have my way, I will be taking my car into 1488 for a new paint job. Very pleased with the shop. Highly recommend

Jeremy and his crew were able to get my truck in and out in the time frame he gave me and they did quality work.  I hope I will not need their services again soon-but  I will use 1488 Collision if I do. Their shop is clean and welcoming.
