All of the staff are caring individuals. Dr Hunter was great with both our dogs. She took the time to answer questions and address our concerns about the health of our dogs. She was our vet during the year we lived in Beaumont. Well worth the drive to Lumberton to see her.

He did great. Our dog was scratching at his mouth and we thought he had a branch lodged in his throat. We brought him to the vet and he handled it great. He gave him some relaxation medicine and found the problem. It was a branch that stuck in between his upper molars. He is very knowlegable and will figure out exactly what is wrong with your pet.

We started using Main Street Vet when they opened several years ago. Their staff is extremely friendly and professional. I have 6 dogs and one kitty. I volunteer with an animal rescue so I always have at least one foster dog in my home as well. My pets love going to the vet (I will admit that I take them for frozen yogurt after as a reward for good behavior as well). Both vets have performed spay/neuter on my pack and rescues. We recently had a very sick senior foster that was in weekly for treatment. He, unfortunately, was unable to be healed by Main Street nor a specialist. We had to euthanize him and the staff was very helpful and understanding throughout the process. They handled the cremation and return of ashes as well. They are very reasonable in their pricing, knowledgable and extremely dedicated to making each of my animals comfortable with every procedure. I have never had to wait more than a day to see a vet when I call to make an appointment. They take their time to answer any and all questions I may have, never making me feel rushed, yet I am always in and out within 30-45 minutes. We love both Dr. Hunter and Dr. Duplechin as well as the entire staff.
My sister, from Houston, has 2 pups and her female, Zoe, became very ill. Upon having her tested at her vet she found out that Zoe had bladder stones and would need to have surgery. She called me very upset that her vet seemed completely unsympathetic to the issue. In her own words she said and quot;I felt like a number. No sympathy and very little time to explain what was wrong and put my mind at ease that surgery was the only option.and quot; I recommended Main Street and she called them to see if they could see Zoe. They made an appointment for her the very next day. Dr. Duplechin took the time to explain the test results and recommended surgery as well, explaining the entire procedure and answering all of her questions. The surgery cost 1/4 of what her original vet wanted to charge. She was so happy with everyone that she has decided to change to Main Street Veterinary Clinic and will be driving all the way from Houston for her puppies vet needs in the future.
I just can't say enough good things about this clinic. You just have to try them for yourself! You won't be disappointed!

They have really been great about getting in and boarding whenever we've had to do something at the last minute over the last couple of years. They have been a really big help with our dogs. They are available and we can get in and out very quickly. Probably within 30 minutes we are walking out so they are good about spacing out appointments. They have 2 vets on staff.
