Owner and workers were very courteous and answered in detail any questions we had. The owner Esau made sure we understood the process and kept us updated throughout their time at our home. As they worked they didn't miss a detail... When digging the French drain they placed the dirt they had dug up into low laying spots in our yard, and watered the dirt down. They also cleaned up our outside tile sitting area, in fact, cleaner than I've ever gotten it. It's these small things that add up to make this experience stress free. For that my husband and I are very appreciative. We highly recommend Stream House Leveling!

First, Stream house leveling provided service for the previous owners of my home.

The owner of the company is a very nice man. The owner of Steram has gone above and beyond his legal obligation to make sure we are satisfied with our home's foundation. We needed our home re- leveled after we purchased it. The company responded quickly and did level our home promptly! thank you for the multiple trips to help us!!!!

The crew came out, dug holes all around the house, jacked up the house, and put support pilings underneath the edge to level it as best they could and stop the movement of the house which was damaging the slab. They could not get it completely level without damaging the inside walls and doors. They arrived each morning as promised. The only thing I did not like during the initial repair was that they did not do a good job of filling in the holes with dirt around the house. Also, the concrete repair of the holes drilled into the front and back porches (to allow adding the pilings) was not a quality job. It does not match and is not smooth. The on-line website advertisement said they would replace landscaping destroyed during the repair, but the crew really did not leave the area around my home in good shape. The initial repair was completed in July, 2012. In August, 2013, we began seeing signs that the house was shifting on one end. The repair was supposed to stop the shift. We have a life-time guarantee on the job. Therefore, we began trying to reach someone at Stream so they could come out and see what was going on with the house. It took a couple of weeks and several phone calls to finally get a response. However, they did respond and informed me they were working out-of-town (all over Texas). They came out on September 18, 2013, and added more support on one end of the house to, hopefully, stop the shifting. Overall, at this time, we are satisfied with the services performed by this company.

We have a house that is located in a remote area in Six Mile, Texas. The house is buit on pier and beam but the chimney is brick and has it's own foundation. The house is a lake house so when we visited the home after not being there for a week or two, we noticed that the base of the chimney had shifted and the result was the entire structure was leaning and pulled away from the house. We realized we needed someone to come out and level it and quickly or the entire chimney could fall. We called many companies in the surrounding area and when they heard it was a brick chimney, they wanted nothing to do with it. We then received a call back from Stream House Leveling who said they could do it and even gave us an approximation of the cost over the phone. Since they were the ONLY company that replied to our requests about leveling the chimney, we agreed to the terms. That was a Tuesday. We then asked if they could come out Thursday, and they said yes to our relief. They drove from Lufkin to Six Mile and met us there around noon. The gentleman's name was Esau and he brought a helper, Oscar, with him. They got right to work. After digging around the base of the chimney, Esau brought it to our attentiont that the concrete that formed the foundation for the chimney was made of much sand so he was concerned about it cracking once they began to jack it up. We understood and gave him the go-ahead. They were successful and the chimney returned to its original position against the house. We cannot say enough good about Esau and Stream House Leveling. They saved our home and we appreciate their quick response to our cry for help. Esau says that they travel all over Texas (as far as the Valley) and into Louisiana to perform their foundation work. I would recommend them as they seemed dedicated and knowledgeable.

Overall I would not recommend this company at this point. I called Stream House Leveling and they returned my call promptly. The man was nice and respectful and made an appointment with me to give me an estimate quickly. I believe they were out the next day. He seemed nice and well dressed when he arrived. He gave me a written estimate and when I decided to go through with the leveling and hire them. They were quick to arrive and do the job.
Once they arrived they started to level the house. The house is an older house and has not been leveled in sometime. I was told they could not get it fully leveled because the roof was under too much stress and that the roof was level but the floor isnt. I was given several different reasons why the house was not leveling as they were going. Reasons such as the house was built in stages and it probably wasnt level when they added on. I was also told the house was level even though the floor was not. I was told that the floor was warped and there was nothing they could do about it but the house was actually level. They did replace beams and add beams. Which was paid for at an additional cost by us. After two days of house leveling I was told that due to the house being unlevel for so long that the roof was actually level when they got through but they would have to return after two months to finish to allow the boards to destress. I agreed to let them return in two months. After all I did get a written contract and a 1 year guarentee on the job. That was in September. It is now February. I have called Stream House Leveling multiple times and left messages and no one will return my call. There address is listed as Hwy 69 when in fact they have told me their office is in Apple Springs on Hwy 94. I finally got a hold of someone a week ago and was assured they would call me back. I have yet to receive a call. When I asked exactly where on Hwy 94 they were located they would just repeat they would call me back.
I am very unhappy about this situation. We inherited the house last August and intrusted Stream House Leveling to level it. They were quick to get the money but now won't finish the job. I would strongly recommend you use someone else to level your house. It looks like I will be going to court on this one. This is ridiculous.
