Overall it was a great experience. The move was for my parents and they were not the most organized. Two capable men came in the morning and started loading the truck very strategically. To my father's surprise everything fit in the truck (fit like a tetris game). They loaded everything in a day and drove it to San Antonio and unloaded it the next morning very quickly. My parents had a lot of breakables and fragile antiques and everything was handled with care. I have not seen or heard of anything about any damages from the move. I was surprised to not hear any complaints from my mother and for that reason alone I would highly recommend these guys again.

They had to move furniture upstairs. They built a crate for my fish tank. The team was really great and I would definitely use them again.

I couldn't be happier with the exemplary service I received from Galaxy Movers. I had a lot of trepidation about choosing a moving company in the Lufkin area given the paltry selection of satisfactory choices that seemed to be available. I relied on the best recommendation from a meager few available movers even reviewed in Angie’s List and crossed my fingers. As it turned out, the two Galaxy guys that did my move were wonderful. Arrived on time, professional, efficient, and unflappably cheerful ALL DAY—no matter no what they hoisted or how many times they had to climb stairs and steps going and coming. Friendly without being too chatty, especially since they were on the clock—they kept their attention all day to the job. I also have a number of large, heavy, expensive pieces, including a 300+ year old French Hutch, and I was relieved that the guys were to studiously careful with each piece. They were as experienced as advertised in handled antiques—they knew before I had to explain that my hutch breaks down into 4 pieces plus a separate irreplaceable marble top. I moved interior and outdoor furniture—they placed every piece perfectly and exactly where I asked and even moved a piece or two again without complaint when I changed my mind. I thought the price I paid was fair given my view of the difficulty of my job and the long distance traveled (81 miles). My experience was extremely positive overall and I recommend Galaxy Movers absolutely and unreservedly. Thanks guys!

I had a relocation and needed help unloading the truck. Galaxy movers were on time, efficient, and friendly. I also have to say I signed a bill without checking the math and he came back to me to point out the error and fixed it on the spot. (He just as easily could have pocketed the extra $100 as I was just that tired and probably would not have caught the error). In scheduling this move, they were also very accommodating offering to come out the night before (after hours) to unload just the bed so that I wouldn't have to sleep on the floor until they could unload the whole truck. Great service. They were very careful and did not break anything. They even put my grill together.
