I am a West Texas native and Texas Tech graduate with over 25 years of experience in the paint industry with tenure at Sherwin-Williams and PPG Paints. My experience gives me the unique perspective to have 'seen it all' when it comes to a wide variety of painting issues. In turn, I am an expert at analyzing problems and providing solutions. I have advised a broad spectrum of painting contractors in several Texas markets on new paints and painting methods. My goal with West TX Coatings is to utilize over two decades of experience to provide a quality paint job with exceptional customer service. Hired Mark Burns and his crew of Larry and Joe were hired to first, repair work of previous paint contractor and then to repaint all affected areas. The outcome was fantastic! Entire crew is skilled, knowledgeable and great to have around. They have all of my future business.

I hired Mark Burns after getting quotes from several painters. He was professional through the entire process. He did good quality work and was respectful of my time. He was accommodating when I wanted to get additional painting done and quoted a very fair price. There were no “surprise” charges at the end. I also appreciate he didn’t ask for any payment until the job was completed to my satisfaction. He was very knowledgeable about the correct type of paint to use. I’ve got no hesitation about hiring him again when we get ready to paint the outside.
