Actual Job: Total replacement of Tub faucet./Replacement of leaking pipe in back yard. Let me state right off the top, that I should have done a better job of asking how much the job was going to cost. What really torked my jaws was the prices he charged for the parts. As an example 1/2" Pex Adapter, Home Depot cost .85, what he charged was 7.39, and the big one was charged 189.95 for a Delta 3 valve tub faucet, Home Depot cost 59.95. All of the parts that he use was priced like that. I believe someone should make a fair profit, but the prices he charged were totally excessive. He is also not very organized in that, after he found that he could not find a new valve to replace the old one he drove back from the parts store to tell me. He could have called and told me that he couldn't find the valve and I would have told him to find a replacement tub faucet setup.
