The staff at Tipton Pet Hotel are wonderful. I took my cat there for a week stay and the minute we walked in the door, everyone came to greet us and immediately started to put Smokey at ease. I called during the week to check on him and the person who answered the phone always went to see what he was doing right then and let me know he was doing ok. He got a lot of attention and I know he loved every minute of it!
I would highly recommend Tipton Pet Hotel to anyone who is looking for boarding services.

The staff is friendly and love animals.

We boarded our dog here over a long weekend, and although the staff were friendly and the price was just as quoted, I wasdisappointed in their failure to provide services they agreed to. Our dog was recently adopted and recently spayed when we boarded her, so she still had stitches in and required a cone whenever she was unsupervised. I called ahead to ask if the staff could accomodate a dog with stitches, and I explained that she would have to wear the cone at all times when unsupervised, but could take it off during walks or play time. They said this was no problem on the phone. When I got there, I re-iterated the cone rules, and they said it was no problem again. They took her back to the room and when I went back to see her, a staffer was trying to take the cone apart. I explained the cone (a plastic cone which folded into shape) does not need to be deconstructed each time, merely unclasp the collar to which the cone is connected and pull it off her head. I demonstrated how to take it off and put it back on, and said again she must wear it whenever she is alone. When we came back she was in her kennel, alone, and they brought her out with no cone on. Furthermore, the collar was removed from the cone which suggests to me they did not use it at all. Fortunately she seemed to stay away from her stitches, but I was disappointed at their inability to follow my directions. I don't think it is unreasonable to ask a dog kennel to put on and take off a cone to begin with, but it is CERTAINLY reasonable to expect them to do so if they explicitly agree to it. I didn't ask about this at the time, and I wish I had, but I was overwhelmed coming back from my trip. I have used them again since, because my dog is healthy now and doesn't require special care. They have been fine subsequently.

My boarded my dog and moved them in there. They do their job and do a good work. I have also taken my dog there for daycare.
