I hate their service. I will move from a new service as soon as I get around to it. I've had their service for years. Where I lived before this and when I lived in here, I have never liked anything about them. I've always wanted to move and switch to another carrier. I just never got around to it. I cannot forget about it. I get mad about something else they did but I'm going to do it again. I am going to switch from them here pretty quickly. They're always here every month. There's always something wrong. My service is always out. They never do what they say they're going to do. They're never on time. They leave on there and they come out here. They don't know what to do. They don't make it any better, they make it worse. Their prices are astronomical. There's nothing I like about them. I won't hesitate to rate them the worst possible in every category. I've had their service for years and years and I just moved recently for the last two years. Maybe it's the location where I live or maybe there's old wiring and stuff over there. But over here, it's not any better than any place. I can't say anything nice about them at all. They are the worst. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I had sudden-link installed with the highest speed they offer the installer did a good job with the install. I had a few problems with the speed of the server and they have come out and corrected or help me correct the issues my service has had over the past year. This is a good service is if you like high speed and don't mind a little higher price that what FIOS would be. IF we got FIOS in Lubbock that is,

If you meed internet in Lubbock I am not sure where you can get good fast service that won't cost you an arm and a leg. I do not like Suddenlink! Currently looking for another provider.

Description of Work: The install years before had went in with 3 different installers coming to our house with multiple problems getting good signal. For years we had intermittant service with outtages almost every week for hours at a time. Then our Lawn guy cut through the cables in the back of the house while trimming bushes and cut off our entire service one day. We called Suddenlink, our power company, our phone company to report the issue. Every company came within two days except Suddenlink who said it would take two weeks to make it out to our house to restore our internet service. Since ATT owned the lines, they repaired their part the next day. Then two weeks came around, noone came. I called the next day when noone showed up and the company stated "someone at the company" had cancelled our appointment and they had tried to get ahold of us on the PHONE LINE (that had been cut) but could not reach us. Since they were subletting the service from ATT, they were our phone provider. Even though the line had been restored, there was no signal. When I told them that if they did not have someone out to our house in 4 days (the end of the week) they told me it would be another 2 weeks. I called the next day and cancelled our service and got ATT Uverse. The hilarious part was the VERY next day, a serviceman from Suddenlink was at our house to turn off our service so ATT could start the service. I asked him why they had an employee to terminate service but could not spare to actually repair the service. He told me they were different departments. Anyway, we got ATT Uverse and has had no problems since then. I do want to point out that the people themselves at Suddenlink were never rude and in fact the people who showed up at our house could not have been friendlier. I would suggest to the administration that the reorganize their company to have MORE employees who can repair service instead of having more to cancel service as it is alot easier to KEEP a customer than to get a new one. I have largely kept this story quiet, but since I joined Angies list, I thought this one should finally come to light.

The best deal is the 10 gauge high speed internet with along with a couple of movie services, that would be the best set up for anyone. Once you have their service they come out and fix things for free. Their not any better or worse than anywhere else down town. They are very customer friendly. The only down side is that when you go to pay your bill in person the line could take 5 minutes or an hour. They let you know when they can send someone out,m usuall it's the same day but if not then it's the next day. If they say they are going to be there at 10am they are there on time if not early. They are very professional.
Description of Work: Suddenlink was last out to check the problem I was having with the internet. They checked it and said someone was messing with the wires.
