Their responsiveness was great.  However, the dog door was installed backwards and the hole was cut out much to large and was filled with caulking.  They did offer to paint the caulking but we did not have matching paint.  It would not have made much of a difference anyway because the caulking was not even smoothed out.  We contacted them about the backwards dog door and did they said they would come back 4 days ago to install the door properly and have yet to show up.

Laundry room work was poor quality. Some of the shelves sag and some of the verticle boards between the shelves no longer meet at the bottom of the shelf. The. floor was different than the adjacent kitchen which was ok, but  he put a round molding where the two floor coverings meet instead of making them come together flush. Plumbing under the house has not been a problem. His crew installed lots of new plastic tubing. The bathrooms were done with poor quality fixtures. Rust started to form around the drain in the front bathroom and the stopper lever in the back bath has never worked. In the front bath, the  shower plumbing was rigged and the enclosure makes it impossible to fix.The glue behind the enclosures shows around the edge of the tubs and looks ragged and dirty. In the front bath the encloser covered a window. The window shows through the enclosure and the covered window shows a board that has come loose on one end hanging down that looks so bad during the daytime we try to remember to keep the shower curtain closed because it is visible from the front door. All the hardware for the tubs had to be replaced within a year. Both commodes were replaced within a couple of years if memory serves. I called him back out within a couple of months and he replaced the rusting drain in the front bathtub. It rusted again a couple of months later but he would not take my calls. After several months, I stopped  calling. He was very unprofessional and ill-mannered toward my son who was about his age. They had never met. He also was disrespectful to his workers.

Lastly, he conducted himself well at first--good personally, very likable and assured me that he always gave a 5 yr warranty on all of his work. I am ashamed to say that I failed to notice that there was no mention of such a warranty in writing until it was too late. It was pretty obvious that it was our first time to have that much work done and he took full advantage. Both tubs probably didn't need to be replaced but he was a very good salesman. During the time the work was being done, he kept trying to talk us into d*** other work like knocking out the wall between our living room and the kitchen and we almost did but just didn't  want to spend that much more. Later another workman told us that he couldn't do that. Apparently that wall would was a main support and I shudder when I think how close we came to listening to him..

I bought paint upon his recommendation; and ended up with several gallons of leftover, unopened paint that I couldn't return to the store. Paint job was sloppy. Overspray everywhere, much of which could not be cleaned or removed, i.e. ceiling fan, brand new hardware on doors, mirror hardware, and coat hooks. I removed old baseboards, bought new ones, primed, and painted them myself. They did not put enough paint on the walls before putting the new baseboards on. It needed to be painted again, which is more difficult after the baseboards have been installed. Owner had his teenage daughter paint my bathroom. The results were not professional; and, when she was through, he told me it was the first time she'd painted a room by herself. The quoted price would have been fair if the results had been professional. Originally, he told me it would take 4-5 days. They finished in just under 3 days. Suddenly, they offered to knock $200 off the price if I agreed to put the remaining hardware back on myself. I think they got in a hurry to finish in order to get to another job that came up after they got started on mine. The people were friendly and polite. They got a lot of rooms painted in a short amount of time; but the results weren't professional; and I was most unhappy about the ruined hardware. I would not call them again.

I demolished the bathroom down to four walls. I purchased a new shower kit, new sink, vanity, toilett, floor, light fixture, new window, two new power outlets & medicine cabinet. I needed to have the shower plumbing moved, and the shower installed. This company overlooked the medicine cabinet, and did not allow room for it between the light fixture and the vanity. The day they said the were finished, the medicine cabinet was still in the box. The light fixture had to be moved because they did not plan it out, and they did not listen to my wants. The shower leaks, the window leaks, the shower fixtures were installed upside down. These guys do not have an eye for detail. They smoked in my house. They left a mess. I would not recommend using them unless it is a simple job.
