POPE AUTOMOTIVE

With all of the snow and ice we had in Lubbock over the winter, I had my doors get frozen.  Apparently, the last melt of ice from my car let water down into the doors and it was below freezing for several days.  The doors would not stay latched when I closed them, so it was panic-inducing to discover this as I was trying to go to work. 
They quickly discovered the issue and did not have to take my doors apart (which would have cost more money) to fix it.  With a little bit of heat and some new lubrication, my doors were as good as new.
The staff is always very practical and I love that they are honest. They do not insist on doing extra work and extra tests. They have graciously picked me up when I needed a ride and are just good guys. 
I had strayed from them a few years back, but returned shortly after when I discovered the "other guys" were more expensive, less efficient and farther out of my way.  I highly recommend the folks at Pope Automotive.

Easy to get an appointment and the work was done in a timely manner.

It is a reputable and good place. They do a large variety of work and are well connected with other people who do what they don't do. They were recommended to me by a lifetime resident who spoke very highly of them and who I trust. They are very busy so you have to wait your turn. I will use them again in the future.
