Overall the job did not go well. We were closing on our house and he was the landscaper who was supposed to lay the sod and do the sprinkler system for the homebuilder. We wanted some additional work done so we contacted him. It is part our fault that we didn't have a written contract with him but the price was agreed upon as well as the services and everything was going to be planted in our yard. He got more than half the money up front when we moved into the house and we went ahead and paid him the additional money shortly thereafter, like three weeks to a month after. It was just a nightmare getting him to come back out. We ended up having to call the homebuilder to get him to apply pressure from his end. It was horrible; I will not use him again in the future.
