We had to buy the front door at the other Home Depot store in town because it was not available in the store where we purchased the storm door and the installation services. Consequently, we had to haul the heavy front door to our home and store it until the installation could be done. I don't know why the stores couldn't coordinate and deliver both or transfer the door to the other store. The stores are not that far apart. The storm door was delivered because it was in stock at the originating store. The contractors were prompt and on schedule although it took two weeks to get them scheduled. The installation went well, except, we have a brick home with metal covering all woodwork. The old front door had the frame clad in the metal. When the contractors finished, they said they were unable to replace the metal - so there was a gaping hole above the door (not into the interior) that was unattractive. Apparently, they are unable to improvise. I salvaged some to the metal that they had removed in the installation process and cut it to fit (about a 10 minute job) and fitted the metal to the new door at the top - covering the void that had been left - perfectly. The installation is now attractive and functional. Do not expect anything other than basic work - the finished job was good, but they will not do any innovation - or use imagination.
