Mr. Hedlund gave me a bid of $300. After I accepted his bid, over other bids. He called me the next day & sounded confused about who & what job he was calling about. After I reminded him, he said he would come by my property & take a look. After he reviewed my "property area" job, he left his business card in my mailbox. He called me said bid would be $400, because I requested cedar fencing. I agreed. He said he would not be able to do job till after the 1st., I said no problem. He calls me tonight to let me know he could do job Friday. I told him I would like to purchase materials from HD because I have an account with them, to save me on out of pocket cost, since I'm a federal employee on furlough. He then tells me his bid was for just for a front panel fence (which he told me was less than 5ft. after he review my property for the job). I reminded him I explicitly told him I wanted a fence panel in my front side yard and a gate in my backside yard area because that is where my AC unit is located!
