My car was out of factory warranty.
I stopped by Economy Pand B and the owner Pete looked at the problem and told me that the paint had failed because the car, likely had prior damage that was never disclosed. The areas were failing do to the prior workmanship. I went to 2 other shops for estimates and they echoed Pete's diagnosis.
1 estimate was way above Pete's estimate. The other shop was about a 100.00 less. I have learned by experience, never take the lowest price. Also, I had done business with his shop a year earlier and had a good experience then, so I went back with Economy.
I presented the car at the time agreed and was given a ride home. They called when it was finished and they picked me up.
I left town an hour later and I discovered later that week, the new paint had chemically reacted with the old paint job in a few overlapping places...
This was not apparent when I picked it up...and showed up gradually later over the course of a few days.
When I came back to town, I drove by and showed Pete. He said they stand by their work, they were apologetic, and would work to correct the problem . It was finished as agreed and well done.
When a job doesn't go right...you can tell a lot about a business when they work to correct a problem, especially when it is not their fault or beyond their control.

I recently used this body shop due to a recent car accident . They were very professional and experienced. They worked for me with the insurance company to keep my car from becoming a total loss. They worked with me and the insurance getting the repairs done. They went above and beyond when providing service, even detailing my care on the inside.
