OK at first, but when problems it is all my fault and consumer pays. Just the principle of the whole situation.
Description of Work: I bought Mohawk carpet from The Carpet Barn in Jan 2009. Everything went OK. About a month ago (June 8, 2012) I called The Carpet Barn and told them the carpet in two bedrooms was wrinking and in one bedroom one wrinkle run the length of the room and several other wrinkles. The man that answered the phone told me he would get somone over and told me that wrinkling was only guarantee for one year and I would have to pay for it. After about a month I notifiied the same man again no one had called me. The installer showed up on 7/12/2012 and told me would be 100.00 to straighten carpet out. I paid the 100. During I was waiting for the month I called Mohawk corporate headquarters and they blamed the installer and the carpet people blamed me. So I paid. I bought the best carpet the Premier edition that was guaranteed for 25 years. After 3 years no one wants to help the consumer. I did nothing to this carpet but walk on it. The house is kept the same temptature year round and did not move furniture on it. I dont know wherther it was the installer or the carpet, but beware if carpet wrinkles the consumer pays. The Carpet Barn blamed it on me. Do not buy from these people
