Carolyn Moegle

Description of Work: Mrs. Moegle is a landlord for rental properties. She collects a $250 deposit which according to the contract you are supposed to get back when you leave and the apartment is clean and undamaged. However, as a standard practice Mrs. Moegle hires a professional housekeeping agency and professional carpet cleaner to come in and she subtracts their charges from your deposit. Even if the apartment is spotless, which she admitted it was very clean. But as a standard practice she still takes your deposit. You will never see it and this is illegal. It does not say she will keep the deposit no matter what in the contract. My suggestions. is to take a lot of pics before and after, then just plan on visiting small claims court if you want to get your deposit back. We even painted the entire apartment and didn't get ours back!!! Ironically the other tenants said their apartments were filthy when they moved in just like our kids apartment was. Therefore, its very strange what the professional housekeeper and carpet cleaner actually do.
