"My apologies to anybody that has to read this. We always try to go above and beyond for our customers here. When I spoke on the phone to Delores in the beginning she made it clear that she was on a extreme tight budget. We bid the job with zero profit for two days worth of work. With such little money to be made on the job, I requested some time to find a convenient day to squeeze that job in, our company cannot operate at this price so it had to be squeezed in on a day we had another job going. Our concrete manager/ installer (we are a small outfit and our owners still do the installations) was leaving to go on vacation. Delores called us repeatedly for multiple days in a row. So we made the decision to send a less experienced guy over there while our concrete guy was on vacation. The installation went rough on our less experienced guy, he could not get a concrete truck till 1:00, it was 101 degrees at this time. His broom finish was performed too early, there were some spots on it that were not level. The pad was definitely flawed. Our supervisor spent a entire extra day trying to perform what was asked of him by the customer. He then gave Delores $500 of his own personal money to try and make things right. This pad was worked on Wednesday Thursday and Friday, He left Friday, came back Monday to cut the expansion joints, we did not leave our customer high and dry for 4 days. We certainly would have came out money ahead to just demolish and re pour. However, we wanted to do what was asked of us by the customer. I would never recommend sanding concrete down. All in all we lost a lot of money trying to make it right, and were unsuccessful in doing so. To our future customers, I certainly never have any problem re-pouring when a customer is not happy. We all just want to make a living to provide for our families. Our sincerest apologies to Delores"
