A/C TODAY

AC Today was recommended by my real estate agent, whom I respect. I've made plenty of poor decisions, but using AC Today for my heating and air conditioning has been a good decision. They helped select a quality unit, installed it quickly, made adjustments to venting when needed, and responded to my phone calls very quickly. They even tracked down a mysterious problem that turned out to be a bird on the power pole.

I called Friday night at 9:15 p.m. and he came out before 10 p.m. He wasn't able to do a permanent fix that night, but he was able to get the a/c working for the weekend (thank goodness). He said he would come back Monday afternoon, and he showed up right on time and did the permanent fix. The service tech was very professional and patient, as I had several questions since I've had to have the a/c repaired each of the last two years. This tech found the reason for the other repairs and fixed the real problem. I was very impressed as I watched him work and he explained each step of the process.
He also didn't charge me for an emergency call Friday night since he wasn't able to complete the repairs then, and since he would have to come back on Monday. Fantastic!

After having another company out on Friday who claimed to have 'fixed' the problem, I called A/C Today and my daughter's suggestion. They were fast to respond, prompt, make sure my doors were closed behind them as I have indoor pets. They told me what the unit needed, quoted me a price and replaced it. When they were through they showed me the bad part and the burned section. The first company said the part alone would be $230 and had to be ordered. A/C Today sold it to me for less than $50 and had it on the truck. I felt they were completely honest and up front with me. I plan to have them back in a month to winterize the system.

These guys are great. I purchased a 40 year old house with two units. One was as old as the house. Shawn and Joey checked each for their efficiency, recommended one be replaced and the other just needed some work. They selected a unit that would qualify for a tax credit, so I could get a better unit for the price. When I've had problems since then, they have come within a couple hours. I wouldn't use anyone other than A/C Today.

I called Joey at 9:15pm because the house temperature was 80 degrees. Joey said he could probably be there in about an hour. About 9:45pm he showed up and had our air conditioner fixed by 10:30pm. He replaced our fan motor on the outside unit. He had all the parts necessary with him. This kind of service is valuable beyond price.
