I can give Mr. Mark Gorton my highest recommendation. 1. He answered my call immediately. 2. Discussed the necessary repairs. 3. Viewed photos of the door, sent via text. Provided an estimate within minutes. 4. Made an appointment for 3 days later and arrived on time. 5. Installed a new wood door jam, rehung the glass door, with frame & installed new doorbell. 6. Results were excellent. Both wood and glass doors fit perfectly. 7. Repairs performed in a timely manner, all debris was removed and a receipt provided. It just doesn't get any better than that!

The hiring process was not hard at all. The price was reasonable, and Mark did an excellent job getting the job done.

This is the second time that we have hired Mark to install a mailbox for us. (We live in a rural area, where mailboxes get destroyed by vandals). He dug up the old mailbox post (which was not easy, as it was cemented into the ground). I purchased the mailbox and post. He un-boxed and assembled them & concreted the new post into the ground. (He supplied the concrete also). He is quick, knowledgeable, friendly, seems honest, and reasonably priced. I always feel like his work is worth more than what he charges, so I always pay him extra. Will definitely be calling on him again for future household repairs.

Told me price of labor and materials up front, even got materials. Pricing very good for service. Very professional.

He came and looked at what I wanted done, he estimated his time and material, and he contacted me within a few hours of that with a price. I accepted, we scheduled, he performed the work to my satisfaction and I paid him his asking price plus materials.

Mark was responsive, flexible with our schedule, punctual and professional. His rates are reasonable and the quality of work is great.

We purchased the mail box, pole and quick set, and had it ready.  Mr. Gorton was on time, and went to work immediately after he arrived.  It took him little time to remove the old box, and he quickly set about to put the new pole in place, attach a platform to the pole, and the box to the platform.  It was obvious that Mr. Gorton had done this before.  He also asked if we had address numbers to put on the box;  we had not thought of that detail but found some later that day and put them on.    We have needed a new box for some time and are very glad we found Mr. Gorton, The Maintenance Man, to get the new mailbox in place.  It looks great.  Another point, Mr. Gorton took the old mailbox away which was helpful.  Thanks to  Angie's List for the referral.

Mark is a McGyver when it comes to fixing things and wasn't afraid to tackle everything on my list.

He showed up first thing this morning and began troubleshooting my fridge not cooling. Took several steps to track the problem and explained what the problem could be. Spent from 9AM till 3PM until he was ale to eliminate all the expense stuff.  The control module was found to have been messed up from power surge from recent storms. Replaced the module which only cost $80. I was very happy with the service. Most places will try to charge you 150 for a new compressor, etc, etc.  As always he went above and beyond what anyone would have.

He showed up on time and gave me an estimate. I had already purchased the major parts.  He worked till the job was done and didn't hesitate to answer any questions I had. Highly recommend this guy!!!

He was able to repair them quickly and it looked very nice.  I was please with his service.  I felt the price was fair and he was able to reuse the existing materials to save us money.  I was so pleased with his service I have already scheduled him to come back and help with more repairs.
