This repair was needed because of a lightning strike to our home. The service provider charges $50.00 to evaluate the problem. It is a non-refundable cost. The remainder of the cost was for labor and parts. The part needed for the TV repair was ordered and several days were needed for the part to be delivered. The television was in the shop for approximately one week. We hoped that the repair would take place more quickly but understood that other customers were presenting with the same problem because of the storm with lightning that had moved through the area. Since bringing the television home, it has worked as it did before. We are very satisfied with the result of the repair.
