It's small, so we feel that we are more of a customer than a number in a bank account. Our checking is free, and we don't have any fees associated with our debit card.

ETPCU decided to bring their new on-line banking system online on April 16...when taxes were due on April 17th.... this was really completely unprofessional and thoughtless to practically lock members out of their accounts as they rush to complete their taxes.
Temporary IDs were sent without account numbers so those of us with multiple accounts were forced to guess several passwords and none of them worked.
While I have been a member for more than a decade and the banking experience has been good...this has left a bad taste in my mouth.
As a final note Quicken import support has been very poor.

I have used them for years and years. I have re-done my home equity oan 3-4 times now. I re-did my home equity loan again this week to get a lower interest rate. They are very good. They get the paperwork together and they have all my information because I have done my loans through them for a number of years now, so they just do all the paperwork. I just go in and sign a few papers and it is done then. Years ago when I first went to Longview, I worked for a company and they had a draft into the savings account there, so I guess that's how I started with them. Then I had a checking account with another bank and the bank closed from time to time, so I moved everything to the credit union. It is good to have everything in one place. I have been with them for quite some time. I am always satisfied with their service. I will stay with them until I stay here.
