I have used the company for about 10 years. I would highly recommend the company. The technicians do great work and are very reliable. They are also very honest, prompt, polite and thorough. Every technician we have ever had has been very personable and easy to talk with. They come out quarterly and always call ahead to let us know when they will be coming out.

We've had very good service with them. They're dependable and they have a good reputation in town, the people we bought the house from had new units installed when we bought it. we've been very pleased with them. The sales people are very kind, courteous, and knowledgable.

It was excellent. They came out on Mother's Day evening after hours on a Sunday. The technician was very efficient and polite. I signed up for a service agreement for maintenance twice a year. They were very responsive to an emergency. It was basically raining in my bedroom. He got it all fixed and even wished me a Happy Mother's Day. The service agreement is $160 for a year. I would recommend their efficiency and promptness. I wasn't even their customer and they responded on a Sunday that was a holiday. The price was reasonable for what happened that day.

They are really good. They are very polite and very professional. The fee I pay also gives me a discount on any parts. I get immediate service if I have a breakdown because I am a member of theirs. I get ahead of other customers if I have an emergency call. They try to send the same representative each time so I am aware of what is going on with my equipment.

Our A/C quit during the night.  We called them the next morning which was a Sunday.  They came out that morning, repaired the unit, and had it running before noon.  The serviceman was professional, very knowledgeable and skilled.  We will call them again.

They gave me options between a new unit and a compressor. They had it installed in one day. I was very pleased with their work. They were well-mannered, professional and courteous. They were also efficient and quick.

I have been with them for years.  I can't say anything bad about them.  I have had a maintenance agreement with them for 20 years.  They have been very responsive.  If you have a maintenance agreement with them you are put to the head of the list if you would need a repair and they have 24 hour service. They have been very reasonable.

I think they are a good company. They are trustworthy and honest. I would certainly use them again. They are very competitive with their pricing.

It took along time after the original estimate to get them to replace all the units, but I suspect they wanted to wait until it cooled off before they did the duct work.

They're excellent, we have used them for years. It was fine they just give our semi annual checks. In our units at our other home in South Padre we get quarterly checks for a cheaper price than we do with Maines.

All went well. He had all parts and tools required to perform the replacement. Very friendly and knowledgable.

I liked Ben Maines a lot. They were professional in their installation, came out when they said they would and finished the same day. They kep their word about the price and when they said they would come out.

My 30-year-old central air conditioner had completely frosted over both outside and inside. The service technician came out while I was at work, so my husband let him in. He added freon and told my husband to call back if things stopped working again. The unit ran well for a while, but by evening the problem began again. The technician came back the next day and investigated further. He found that the control switch outside had arced and welded itself together. He replaced the control and cycled the system twice. He did not charge a service call for his return visit. He told my husband that if he was willing to do the work himself, he could save himself around $200 by doing the very thorough cleaning everything needed. We were very happy with the service. Now all the work is done and we are looking forward to our dinosaur continuing to operate much better and more efficiently!

The clientele they send out are usually young. I feel very comfortable with them and know them. They always call before they come to their appointment. We have been with them for 16 years and will continue to use them in the future.

We returned from vacation on a Saturday in July to find our AC frozen up - in Texas , in 100 + degree heat ! We called Ben Maines' off hours answering service and received a return call from a repairman ( Jeff ) within 30 minutes . In the sweltering heat , we only wanted the thing fixed and weren't concerned about the cost . He set an appt. to come out on Sunday , after church , but also gave us the estimate including weekend overtime , as opposed to the standard rate on Monday . We were able to make the decision that it would be less costly to stay in a Hotel until Monday rather than pay the overtime rate. They could have easily taken advantage of our situation by charging the weekend rate , but did not ! They made sure we were aware of the cost difference . Jeff was right on time on Monday morning . He diagnosed the problem as a burned out circuit board , for which a part needed to be ordered . But, he was able to re-wire the board to get the AC going, until the part arrived , so we would be able to get out of the Hotel and back home . On Tuesday evening , they called to let us know that the part was in and apoligized for taking so long !! Apparantely the original shipment was lost , but they managed to have another on the way in one day ! Again , Jeff arrived promptly at the scheduled time on Wed. morning and installed the new board .. We could not have been more pleased with their honesty, professionalism and prompt response to our call . We are now very cool and happy customers for life ! :o) :o)
