We recently purchased a home with a pool that has a lot of problems. American Pools is working with us to get it up to perfect condition. The plumbing was convoluted and confusing with too many valves. In addition, the joints in the PVC were corroded and leaking. They came in and simplified the plumbing, added two timers (one for the pool and one for the cleaner). The owner is very knowledgeable and very easy to work with. Very honest people. There is more work to be done to the spa and coping, and they will be the ones I will call to do it. I would highly recommend this company

I first used American Pool in 1999 when they built my pool. The finish work was excellent and we have had good service from them for years. The owner, Mark, is very good to call and give advise about water problems. They have all the parts for repairing pumps and chlorinators so there is no waiting for a part to come in I would recommend this company to anyone wanting to build or maintain a pool.

The only bad thing is he does the work when he gets ready to. He's pretty busy so he's not in any hurry to do my job. He does an excellent job when he does it. He's never in a hurry to bill me either. I've been dealing with him for years. Good work takes time and he does it right but he may not do it as quickly as you want. A lot of people want their pools opened in May so he gets really busy. You can talk to the owner on his cell phone and he comes by in person to talk to you about things. It's a family-owned operation; his wife, daughters, and son all help him. I don't know anyone else I would trust to deal with my pool.

We have had very good luck with them. They did exactly what they told me they would do, and I was very pleased with what they did. I needed to get into the pool, but I couldn't get up the steps, so they put in the ramp. They were very consistent in what they did, and I like consistency. They did everything that they said they would do, it looks very nice, and I am very pleased with it. The work was rather expensive because this is a pool that has been in use since the 1970's, and it needed a complete makeover. All pool makeovers are expensive, and their price was average. They were the company which put in the pool in the 70's and they are still in business, so for a pool company, that tells me something.
