All Seasons Window & Door MFG Inc
About us
In 1979, All Seasons started in two rooms of a school gymnasium. From selling, to manufacturing, delivering, and installation, Bill Akins (owner/president) and his five employees were involved in every phase of work. All Seasons constructed a 33,000-square-foot building on 10 acres in Longview's Industrial Park in 1983, extending its line of storm and replacement windows and increasing its staff to 20. All Seasons now has 3 locations available and consists of over 100 employees. We have our Longview location (located in Longview's Industrial Park off of Ambassador Row, our Bryan Commercial location (located N. Harvey Mitchell Pkwy), and our Tyler Showroom (located in The Green Acres Shopping Center off of Troup Hwy.)

"The person who posted this review is not the actual homeowner. The BBB rejected this claim as well. [Member Name] is the daughter of the customer. The actual customer is very pleased with the work and the quality of our products. Our installers also repaired poor work done by a big box store while onsite. We had to cancel the original install due to an ice storm. We will not risk the safety of our employees when ice is on the ground. Lastly, All Seasons never authorized a 10% discount coupon on Angie's List. Our company does not issue 'blanket' coupons. All discounts are issued in-house by our Marketing department."
"Regarding the windows: there are tolerances allowed for any product in manufactaturing. The customer was threading dental floss through joints in the the windows. No windows produced indistry-wide are "water tight." Regarding the doors: the front door was 100% custom in an older home. Any time a custom product goes through a manufacturing facility, the lead times can be extensive. This was discussed at several different intervals and it took several weeks for the customers to make a decision. When the custom door came in, one of our employees did bore a hole incorrectly and instead of us 'patching' the problem (which we could have easily done without the customer's knowledge), we opted to re-order the door at our cost and communicate that to the customer. We would not expect a customer to pay for our mistake nor would we pass on a damaged product to a customer. While we are very sorry the customer was unhappy with the lead time on the door, we are human and mistakes do happen. We immediately re-ordered the product as soon as the error occurred and kept in communication with the customer to let them know anticipated delivery/install date. Regarding lead-based paint fees: The EPA mandates all homes built in or before 1978 must be tested for lead-based paint. Lead is especially hazardous to children and elderly people. This couple was expecing a baby and we had to be very careful to follow all EPA regulations regarding lead-based paint. All of our installers are certified. The lead-safe practices we must follow are costly and labor-intensive and we make zero profit by charging the fees. They simply cover our labor and materials to comply with the law. There are numerous companies in town charging for lead-based paint and not following EPA regulations. All Seasons is not one of those companies. The potential safety/health risk to our employees and our customers is huge and we are a company in full compliance with the law."
