Very thorough, very professional and timely. Also very timely and knowledgeable responses to "ad hoc" bug issues. When did property mowing, done on timely basis and handled extras as requested. (BHL stopped the property mowing on their own initiatve.)

They treat whatever needs to be treated for sure. They are very prompt and so professional. My yard is looking great. I would highly recommend them.

BHL did a terrific job designing and installing our new home landscaping and irrigation system in 2014 and have since been providing excellent maintenance service. We are very pleased with their work. They are competent, reliable and prompt in responding to our service calls. We appreciate seeing the same faces show up each time to perform maintenance services.

We are building a new home in the Lake Livingston area and needed full landscaping and irrigation installation. BHL had been recommended by two neighbors. The project is nearing completion and we have been highly satisfied with the quality and timeliness of their work. They are extremely easy to work with. They are very responsive to their clients and their pricing (value for the money) is good.

Wonderful! They came out quickly, the estimate was fair and solid. I had them treat my fire ant problem in my yard and it took immediately care of the issue. They treated the inside of my house and my garage/storage room. The have since maintained quarterly outside treatment. I have no bugs and no issues. They come as scheduled, they are courteous and respond quickly to any questions or concerns -- but I'm bug free for two years now -- and I live on the lake!

We hired this company to take care of our lawn, i.e. mowing and chemical treatment for ants and weeds, when we first moved to the area. We signed a 1 year contract and were informed that a bill would be mailed to us monthly. At first, the workers showed up like clockwork to spray our yard monthly and to mow our lawn twice a month. The bills would come in and I would pay the total. About 4 months into the service contract, we began receiving emails from the company saying we owed them several hundred dollars. We called to inquire about the billing issue and were told that we were not receiving "bills" but "invoices" and would need to look in our email for the actual amount owed. It was completely confusing and we ended up paying quite a bit more than we had expected in the beginning.

They are very professional and there aren't cheap. They do a lot of things like irrigation system, artificial turf. They also do chemical treatments for your lawn, trees. They take care of golf courses, schools and businesses. They have a wide range of services. They didn't use their crew for installation and they used another company for installation. That was a mess. They came and told me upfront that when they get busy they will get the other company to do some of the installations. I found that the other company's people are very professional and very well trained. I have used the other company a few times and I was very impressed. I was not impressed by Better Home and Lawn. They were expensive. Last fall I had them come out for realigning the system and it was under warranty. They put insulation around the back flow valves and opened the system and drained out. They came back a week after that and uncorked it and adjusted the heads. They did replace one of the rotator heads and charged me. It cost me $ 127 for them to come out pull the insulation off and close the valves properly. I also paid $ 85 an hour for labor. They did a good job and I can't complain. They know their business. They did not fail to communicate. I would use them again in the future if I can afford them.

They were effective and they worked quickly. They respond to their customer needs. I pay them $21 a month. They come on their own but when I have called them, they came promptly. I would use their services again in the future.
