Obelardo S Badillo

Description of Work: Because of faulty materials and/or installation of my hard wood floors, 90 days after installation my new hard wood floors buckled. Mr. Oberlado S. Badillo -- dba O.S.B. Custom Floors -- refused to properly repair my floors, arguing that it was faulty glue, which his company purchased on my behalf from Floor & Decor located at 2350 Alberta Drive located in Dallas, Texas. I tried three times to get Floor & Decor to work with this contractor, who is posted in the front of their store O.S.B. Custom floors as a recommended contractor -- although they say they don't recommend contractors ? Floor & Decor's customer service is non-existent and they refer you to a nasty attorney-like person at their corporate office, who could care less about their customers, in my opinion. When I was purchasing glue from Floor & Decor, their own people on the floor told me to avoid the less expensive glue they were selling because "it didn't work." In a court of law, Mr. Badillo, lied to the court arguing that it was water damage that caused my floors to buckle; however, he did not state that their was any problem with the floors when he was installing my hard wood floors Every contractor I spoke to about this problem stated -- without question -- that Mr. Badillo and O.S.J Floors needed to leave space for the floors to expand when they installed the floor. Mr. Badillo said when I hired him that if there were any problems with the floor that he would come back and make the repair; unfortunately, he is not a man of his word.
