Water Heater Replaced

It went excellent. The staff was fining very professional. The clean-up went well. The price was reasonable. They were on time. They were pleasant to deal with.

The work was accurately estimated and timely, courteously and professionally performed. This is the second time I have used North for plumbing repair, and I would absolutely recommend them.

No response from provider. I have no idea about the quality of the company's work - it may be wonderful - however, I feel that not responding to inquiries is not a positive first impression. While it's true I could have picked up the phone and called the provider, it seems to me that the provider should not have a request form online if they are not going to use it. A simple email response would have been just fine. To be fair, perhaps the email system was not working, but unfortunately, this plumber was not alone in failing to reply. I contacted six plumbers using Angie's List in my area using the email request forms they provided - only one responded.

We have used Rick for several years now. We actually have a home warranty that covers most problems, but if our problems are ever plumbing related, we just call him and pay for it out of pocket--I trust him and know that he will always do a great job. He has helped us with so many issues, big and small--installing a new toilet (3), repairing the water dispenser line on our refrigerator, installing a garbage disposal, fixing a bathtub faucet that broke. He answers calls quickly and is able to come out within a day or two. He even responded on a weekend after we had a flood in our bathroom. He is highly professional. I can't recommend him enough!

The experience was great. Rick arrived on time, he found the problem in less than 5 minutes and it took him almost the same amount of time to fix it. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. If I ever need plumbing services again, I will definitely contact Rick.

Rick tried to locate the current brand of Perrless but they had gone out of business, so he installed a Crane model, almost identical to the one replaced.

I went to Angie's List to research a plumber. A highly recommended one told me that his fees were $200 an hour and that it would most likely be $800 with me buying the fixtures. Back to Angie's List. I called a number of plumbers that charged a fee for an estimate. I then called Rick on Friday, he told me he charged a fee for a repair estimate at my place, but we talked about my problem over the phone. He was understanding and provided a very realistic estimate. He said that it would have been more if it was an emergency, but I was able to wait a couple of days. He showed up as scheduled, corrected the problems, and left us with faucets that worked, no more leak, and a rather good feeling about his business.

RICK IS A TRUE PROFESSIONAL. HE'S DONE WORK FOR US SINCE 2002. HE IS PROMPT AND USUALLY OUT TO REPAIR THE PROBLEM QUICKLY. HE TELLS US EXACTLY WHAT IS WRONG AND HAS NEVER TRIED TO SELL US ADDITIONAL WORK OR PARTS WE DON'T NEED. IN FACT, HE HAS OFTEN TIMES TOLD US HOW WE CAN FIX A PROBLEM SHOULD IT RECUR. WE WILL USE HIM EVERY TIME!
