He did an unbelievably great job. The owner Doug Hayes was the one who actually did the work and he was fabulous. I was going to call him back to see if he might be available to do some more work. I have a handful of upgrade projects I need done in the house. Initially, when I called him, he was in the middle of a job, but he was very upfront and honest and told me exactly when he would be available and when I might be able to find him. The day he became available after that job finished, he called me and came right out. He was great.

Doug Hays of Lakeside Remodeling is a wonder. He is a general contractor who came to my home to finish up what the last contractor stuck me with. He put me on hold for a little while, because he won't start a new job until he can finish the one he's working on now. THAT is a rarity for a contractor, I can tell you. My first belabored contractor would leave me for days and weeks on end with a torn up room, floors, walls, etc. with no contact, until they deigned to show up to work in bursts of two or three days. I knew they had other jobs. Doug got my handy work done in no time and charged a fair price! When I talked about getting a sidewalk put in, I mentioned that I got a very high quote from Home Depot, and it wasn't exactly what I wanted. Doug showed me pictures from his website for stonework he had completed with natural Texas/Oklahoma flagstone, and I loved it (see photos). Every time I am outside in my front yard, people stop in their cars to ask me who did the work. Of course, my taxes went up this year, too! So I know it has increase my home's value! I HIGHLY recommend Doug for his stonework, and any other general contracting/remodeling work you need for your home or business!
