Kevin came to give us an estimate the day after we contacted him.  He listened to our concerns and gave us several suggestions as to how to keep costs down.  He and his crew were very polite, took care not to damage or scratch walls and baseboards, and cleaned up his site.  There was also no cursing on premises, and the work was done well and quickly.  Before he left, we did a final walkthrough, and he acted immediately upon the few things we spotted.  After he left we found a couple of things that hadn't been finished, and he came back the next day and addressed all of our concerns.  I could not be more satisfied with his services.

Prompt, professional with install, amiable. Clumsy with doors on his saw horses. Should use padded horses and exercise more caution. 'Specially with newly painted doors.

Kevin, the contractor, said he would have it done in one weekend, start to finish. I was ready for early Sat. morning. I had already moved TV's, Sat.receiver, sound sys., computer, & all related items the night before. They didn't show up 'till about noon. They moved every thing out to the living area and covered back porch, a 12'x30' area. A couple of hours later, he received a call from his girl friend & an arguement ensued. He said he had to "go take care of the situation and be back later". He never returned that day or the next day. None of his crew was able to get in touch with him. The crew returned Sun. and started laying the new floor after using the float material in unlevel places that needed it. Late that evening, Kevin showed up and told the crew to get everything moved back in place & left. They moved the furniture back in to the master bedroom then they left. There was a lot of misc. items that weren't finished. One of the guys said he would come back the next night and try to finish up. All day the next day, Mon., my wife and I moved furniture, for which I had paid them to do from the back porch and living area back in to their rooms as it was supposed to rain. The one man showed up the next couple of nights trying to finish. Kevin finally showed up again the third night and helped him finish. He said that he would return and haul off the trash in my front yard. A lot of bubbles and rifts had showed up in most of the house. Kevin said they were caused by air and work themselves out. I also showed him a place in the master b r where the tiles in the vinyl didn't match. He told me that was a factory flaw and I would have to contact the flooring supply about that. Well, after a couple of weeks, the trash piles were still there and so were the bubbles in the floor. I hauled off the trash, for which I had paid him, in a couple of pick up loads to the landfill. It was killing my grass. I called the supplier about the "factory flaw" in the bedroom floor. I had had my fill of Kevin, so he said that he would send someone he trusted out to look at the situation. This man looked at the bedroom floor and showed me where a seam was cut and the miss match was created by Kevin's crew. After looking at the bubbles in the floor, he determined that in places it was caused by cuts so tight to the walls it didn't allow for any expansion. The largest area of problems was in the living area. It turned out that the concrete float was not used where needed. I paid this man & his helper to come back & fix all of Kevin's screw ups. It took him a couple of days to fix it. He had to cut the new vinyl sheets in the border seams, lift it and put the float material in uneven places in the slab that needed it. I felt that I would rather pay someone else to fix it than have Kevin come back. To sum it all up, the mistake that I made was to find this contractor, Professional Flooring, then use a recommended supplier for the material. The correct proceedure would be to find a reputable supplier and then use a contractor they recommend. They deal with contractors and know the good ones and the bad ones.

Kevin came to my house and gave us a very good deal on his estimate.  That weekend him and his crew started working on replacing wood laminate flooring throughout my home.  They started Saturday morning bright and early and finished on Sunday evening.  I was very impressed by Kevin and his crew.  They were very nice and polite and took care of my home.  I would recommend Kevin and his crew to anyone.  I thought he did a great job.

I received four bids for the installation. Professional Flooring Services (Kevin) was within a couple of hundred dollars of the lowest bid... and about 1/2 the price of the highest bid. I used him based on his professionalism and being completely straight up with the bid and fees. Three people (including Kevin and his wife) worked on our flooring over a span of three days. I would describe all three as professional, VERY courteous, neat and conscientious in their work, and reliable. I would, without any doubt, use these guys again if I had this type of need arise again. I'm very happy with the end result of their work, the reliability in doing what they said they would do, the overall project cost, and working in a professional way. I have no reservations in recommending them to others.

I saw that they had good feedback on Angie?s List so I decided to use them. They were efficiently, they were very quick to get back to me, they were professional, and they did what they said they would do. They didn?t charge me any more than the quote that they gave me. I would absolutely consider using them again.

I began by calling Kevin to get an estimate on the work. Within 2 hours of my initial phone call, he was at my house to give me an estimate. His price was very fair and I liked the professional way he handled himself and the reassurance he gave me that he would care for our home and all of it's contents. The day he started, he and his crew were prompt in their arrival and all worked hard. I can't tell you how nice it was to work with someone who was flexible in our dilemma of having a long wait for our wood to arrive. The actual work took about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks (approximately 3500 sq. ft.), but because of the floor arrival delay, they were available for about 6 weeks. Wow! I came to appreciate Kevin in a whole new way! He stayed faithful to finish the job when many others would have said forget it! He was so dedicated to get our job finished so we could celebrate our Thanksgiving with our family the Saturday after Thanksgiving, that they actually worked on Thanksgiving Day to insure that it got done. Not many would have gone to that much trouble. All I can say is it was a job very well done. We love everything that Kevin did and especially enjoyed the few moments we could get him to play our piano (beautifully I might add). We have not only permanently added a new hard worker to our list of craftsmen, I feel we have gained a new friend as well.

Mr. Carter went over what kind of wood flooring we wanted. He made recommendations concerning styles and variations of product and guided us to get just the right product for our home. The old floor was taken up, floor was sanded and prepared for the new flooring. Our job was a little tricky since we had the same floor across both concrete slab and wood base. He took all of this in stride and worked extraq hard to meet our deadline for new furniture. He and his staff even worked well around our multiple dogs and cats. They finished up, cleaned up and got everything back in place. Thanks Kevin for a job well done.

He was prompt, on time, clean cut and courteous-extremely professional. He removed the old vinyl and carpet, undercut all the door jambs and also undercut my fireplace so that the tile would lay properly. He laid plastic down in the walk ways and covered my furniture. He designed an extravagant pattern for my entryway foryer. I mean it was fabulous! He pretty much had all the tile layed down in one day. The second day, he grouted the tile( that was laid to perfection might I add) and layed the carpet. In the end, he cleaned up and hauled off all the trash and waste and gave me a one year warranty on the entire job. The amount charged was actually less than what he quoted because he didn't need all the tile. I was totally pleased and he without a doubt, increased the value of my home. I would definately refer Mr. Carter to anyone looking for a hard working, professional and honest installer.
