I had absolutely nothing but problems with them. Everything with the sod pretty much died. I didn't know that I needed to put some nutrients and fertilizer in the ground. He didn't do any of that. He actually told me that his rototiller was on another job and he would scuff it with the lawn mower and that would be just as good. I've had to have it resodded and the new guy that came out used a rototiller and some nutrients and fertilizer and it is just fine now. The sprinkler system works fine except he put too many sprinklers in one section which causes the water pressure to drop. His price was good and better than the other contractors but it cost me more in the long run. He wasn't responsive and wouldn't return calls. The only reason I got hold of him after 2 1/2 years was because he changed secretaries and I was able to get through.

Although delayed, the install itself was not bad. They came and did the job.
Then everything changed. The system had a 1-year "warranty". We thought that would be helpful-WRONG! Starting in June we have been trying to get him to come and fix a broken sprinkler head, and make a few adjustments to provide full coverage. He never responded to those requests. About a week ago, the valve he installed broke, and we discovered a leak in the pipes. Makes since given we just received the largest waterbill ever, even after establishing our whole yard last year. After calling him several times, he sent a plumber to fix the valve, but the plumber didn't address the leak that was 4 inches from the valve! Now Robert won't return our calls. He never answered his cell, but used to call back 1-2 minutes later after he determined who was calling him, but now we get nothing. We are going to have to hire a plumber and we will expect Robert to pay the cost, since our water meter is spinning out of control.
I can't believe Robert did this to us. He made promises of responsiveness but never came through. Too bad.
BEWARE of Reliable Rain Sprinklers.

I contacted Robert from Reliable Rain to get a quote for the jobs.  He called me back that day and gave me a verbal quote.  He said he would email me his proposal.  Two weeks later he sent me the proposal.  From then on I dealt with Robert's office manager.  She promptly responded to all my calls and if she was able to take care of the issue herself it was done immediately.  The crew started a day later then scheduled but no one from Reliable Rain called me.  Mid morning when I called them I was told that the delay was caused by the equipment being delivered later then expected.  The job took more then one day but the crew started nice and early on the 2nd day.  When they were finished they swept the driveway and sidewalk but left pieces of mud & muddy foot prints.  The foreman walked the yard with me and explained the controller operation but I discovered later that he had programmed a PM start instead of an AM.  Called Reliable Rain and requested that he return, which he did do. I also hired Reliable Rain to install sod on the back & side yards.  The start of the sod installation was pushed back due to the push back on the irrigation system.  Then that start was delayed another 4 days because supplier wasn't able to deliver the sod on the day requested.

They came out the next day right on time.  Quoted me 85.00 for one hour of service.  Just be aware that their job is to upsell you.  I am ok with that, because I do have the option of saying no.  Overall good experience.  Most unusual part is that I had to keep calling them to pay them.  Not a big deal, that was mostly my fault but they seem to be both busy but friendly.  The work they did was good.  I would use them again.

Outstanding service from quote to maintenance three years later.

Had a little difficulty contacting Robert via the email on Angie's list. Ended up calling him on the phone. He apologized and said he didn't receive my email because the email address was incorrect.. He came out the day of my call to measure and prepare an estimate. He emailed me his bid that night. I obtained bids from 2 other companies, and Robert's bid was the lowest. But, I also selected him because of a recommendation from someone I know that uses his services for maintenance and repair. I had to contact him a couple of times to arrange the installation. But, the installation was completed in one day. His warranty was equal to or better than the other quotes I received using the same manufacturer's products.

The guy came and checked-out the leak (dug around the head) and found that a head was loose as opposed to a real leak. A few heads needed raising to cover the needed areas. He also checked my zone times and found out that my rotating heads needed more time than the rest, which was causing some grass to become brown.

They did a good job, the price was fair and they were able to come out the next day.

This company was one of the few who actually returned my call. They arrived the next day. Although they wanted to do something more extensive, they settled for a more cost-effective solution.

It was pretty good. They were able to come out quickly, easy to contact. We thought their rate was reasonable, but a little higher than some of the other companies. I would recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

They did all the work in one day and did a nice job putting my lawn back together. They also hooked up a very handy operator with remote for me to control the system with.
