TruGreen Lawn Care - 5057

Unfortunately, TruGreen killed half of my front yard, and possibly 2 of my large landscape trees. There's a very distinct line between my (now dirt) property and my neighbor's green grass, so this is no disease. It looks like their guy sprayed grass killer or weed killer over half of my front yard, and into the bush bed (affecting my crepe myrtle). I'm in the process of arranging to have the yard re-sodded.

A couple of time they came here they didn't leave a note at the door, but other than they are very good.

They have been here every single time they needed to be here when I call them to get something to needed to be done, they came in between and took care of with no charge or no claim and solve it.

I requested services through TruGreen's 800 number. They indicated that a full lawn analysis would be conducted. That never occurred. Tech indicated on bill that he had knocked on door before starting which did not occur. The entire application lasted about 10 minutes. They did even better coveragage on front yard but still missed areas. He walked quickly over rear yard area missing entire areas. They spayed weed control and pre-emmergent. No weeds ever died or browned up. After spraying, they sat in the truck for about 20 minutes and then left the bill on the front porch. Upon inspection, entire ground areas were dry. Review of the security camera footage indicated that they did a very shoddy job and that technician never knocked n the door.. For a first application, this was a very poor quality and unethical service job. I was not contacted as i was told I would be.

They should reschedule the treatment to a better time and stuff like that. The grass is growing. They do come whenever they want to.

It went great. Joseph was the specialist and he was really nice and seemed to know his stuff.

So far everything is ok. Workers are friendly and they call a couple days before they come out. They are very prompt. I am sure they are above average.

I have only used them twice so far. I have not seen much with it yet. I am hoping in the spring that it will show good results. I do not have to be home, they just come out and do it. Everything has been fine. They let me know when they are going to come out. The billing has been easy and straight forward. I have no complaints. They have been good at letting me know what they are going to do and how they are going to do it.

I have not had many problems with them. They have been good to work with. They call before they come out. They talk with you before the hand to cover what you would like done in the appointment.

They came when they said they would, however evidently did NOT treat the entire lawn as evidenced by the large patches of weeds all over the lawn.  They have a policy to come out and immediately respray until you are happy with the results, but that really does not happen either.
Instead they argue with you on the phone over and over and in the end are more than willing to just close your account,

They are easy to work with and do a good job. 

They always call ahead to make sure they can access my lawn. I don't have a fence or any animals so it is never a problem. They are doing a pretty good job and it has helped my lawn a lot. They are very responsive and they always come back with no problems to re treat when needed.

Disregard the review I did for the Plano office. That was an error. I didn't know Angie's breaks em down by office. I believe my Trugreen office is in Lewisville but in any case, I think was I was talking to a person at their corporate office.
The guys who come out are good, friendly, professional. They do a good job. My problem was with the office. I had called back in February to negotiate a lower price since they were offering it to new customers. I was an existing customer.
To make a long story short, they agreed to lower my price and I accepted the temporary discount. I told them I really didn't want to cancel but their service is expensive. Well, I noticed they hadn't been coming out. So I called today. Turns out they cancelled me back in Feb. They tried to say I cancelled them but that's incorrect. I was satisfied with the discount. So now they said I was not eligible for the special price they had promised me back in Feb, (something like 50%) off for the next couple of treatments, plus a 10% discount. And they said I would have to join as a new customer.
She insisted I was the one who cancelled even though I told her I didn't. She had some attitude. So I told her to go ahead and REALLY cancel me then. She said......"You are cancelled." Kind of a snarky remark. I guess a company as big as TruGreen doesn't need me.
So I called Cititurf this morning. They are local, friendly, professional and the same service for about 2/3rds the cost. I am so happy now! Big companies just don't need to provide good customer service. At least not this one. They insisted I cancelled, (as if I am lying) and they wouldn't honor their previous price commitment. No thanks.........No thank you TruGreen.
