I had a service call to check out why my heater was not working and with no call they replaced some O-rings on a completely different unit and charge me almost $200 for three O-rings. They did quote me on replacing my heater for thousands of dollars. After calling around to no less than 10 other companies to get a quote Superior Pool Service came in $1000 more than the next closest quote. If you want to company that thinks a lot of themselves and reflects it through the price then these are your people. I was a customer of three years with them paying $200 - $250 a month for pool cleaning. I have since moved companies for $140 a month I receive more service and they take photographs of when they get here and leave.

The pump on my pool had stopped working. I called Superior and they were able to add me to their schedule 2 days later. Jason, from Superior, was excellent. He arrived on time and was very personable. I decided to upgrade to a Variable Speed Pump and he took the time to setup and explain the new operation. I am very happy with the service & would recommend to others.

Had service from Superior for nearly 5 years. Over the last several months there service completely fell apart. I would have to call them to send a tech back out because the baskets were not emptied - even though they never forgot to bill me! I would have to call them because the chemicals were not right - so they would take several days to correct. I would have to remind them to brush the tile. It seems as though I had remind them to do everything but bill me. There were certainly consistent about that! The worst thing was that my salt system stopped working. I noticed a lot of leaves in the pump basket on a Saturday and they reported on the schedule that they were just out to my house the day before. I took several pictures and sent them to the owner. She said that was unacceptable and would send the tech back out the next day. I met the tech at my home and watched as he finally cleaned the baskets (which should have been done the day before). When I asked him how much salt my pool was using every week he told me my salt system stopped working A YEAR AGO! THAT WAS THE FIRST I HAD HEARD OF THAT. Just terrible service in the field. One should not need to babysit their pool service personnel.
There are much better services out there at lower costs. I will rate the one I finally choose as I am planning on trying 2 out.

I have recently engaged Superior to perform my weekly cleaning service. I have used this company in the past for a number of items, including repair and replacement of pool equipment (pump, filter, heater), repair of leaks in the shell of my pool (the pool is about 20 years old) and resurfacing of the pool. In all cases I have been happy with the work, and if something was not right, they corrected the issue without any hassle.
I've used their cleaning service for about 4 weeks now, and I am very happy with the service provided. The technician's name is Andy and he does more than just clean and brush the pool. I had been having a big problem with algae this year. Andy has been instrumental on determining the source of the algae and working to remove the source and get my pool clear. If I have questions about the pool, or equipment, Andy is very knowledgeable and can help me sort out my questions. He's very easy to talk to and a really nice guy.
Recently, there was a scheduling misunderstanding and no had cleaned the pool in over a week. Chlorine levels were low, the water was getting quite cloudy, and it was the start of the weekend. I called Superior's weekend number and had a response within the hour. By the end of the day, Stacy had called me with an update and Andy stopped by the house to apologize for the misunderstanding and let me know that he and Superior took my business seriously.
With all of my past experiences, I am definitely continue to be a Superior Pools customer.

Superior really wowed us with their customer service. The initial installation of our pool surface didn't go well, I'll explain below, but Superior owner Mitch Daniels came out to the house, agreed that the surface needed to be replaced, and removed and re-installed our pool surface entirely at their expense.
In May 2010 we contracted Superior to refinish our pool. They have done quite a lot of work for us in the past (replacing equipment, repairing leaks in the pool shell) and have always performed above our expectations. Our pool is a bit unusual, we have a Caretaker in-surface pool cleaning system. Superior contracted with A&M Pool Surfacing to remove and replace the original gunnite. On the first install, they did not remove enough of the gunnite surrounding our pop-up heads and had to come out and sand down the gunnite. After sanding down the gunnite, it had a different surface characteristic, which in the right light caused our pool to appear to have warts, or divots.
In Spring 2011 we asked Superior to come look at the pool and they were very up-front that the surface simply needed to be replaced and they offered to replace the surface at their own expense. The final result looks excellent and we are very happy with the outcome.
I have always found Superior to provide excellent service. In my experience many pool service companies are mediocre at best. Superior is truly a professional company that provides excellent service and stands behind their work.

I hired Superior Pools to remodel my pool. They replaced all the tile, fixed cracks, filled in cracks in the decking, and replastered the pool. I have used them in the past to install a hot tub as well as filter/pump repairs and replacement. They did a great job with the remodel. They were very professional, price was reasonable, and the work was great. I would definitely use them again. The only issue that I had with them is once they had sent over an technician who was unfamiliar with my spa pump even though it was originally installed by Superior. I had to call the office and get other folks involved to get the proper repairs.
