+ -1 moreVery, very thorough inspection. We were present during the whole inspection and he took the time to actually show us some items to repair our look for. The report was excellent with full pictures and great descriptions. We even had some question after and he was more than willing to take the call and spend time answering them.

+ 0 moreJeff and Scott Smith were an absolute pleasure to work with! They took the time to explain issues to me and then answered all my questions about what they were showing me. I asked them tons of questions and they were awesome about answering them. Their knowledge and expertise made me feel so much more confident about my impending purchase. They went over every inch of the home, including climbing up on the roof and up into the attic. They tested the HVAC, the water pressure, all kitchen appliances, the electrical...everything! I would use these guys again if ever I had need and I would recommend them to family and friends without hesitation.
Description of Work: I hired this company to do the inspection on my prospective new home on the advice of my realtor. They showed up on time, went over the house, inside and out, with a fine tooth comb. They were very thorough and took the time to show me everything they found and explained in detail what the problem was and how it could be fixed. They answered all my questions with expert knowledge and a great sense of humor.

+ -1 moreWith 2 men working in a overlapping pattern no home problems are safe from the Smith inspectors. Father and son revealed so many issues so thoroughly that the home-owner got mad and kicked us out. Due to the extensive problems they revealed we canceled the contract during the option period which saved us tens of thousands in future repairs had we purchased the property. This was the best $450 I've ever spent. Jeff has over 20 years in the business and Scott has more than half of that. I highly recommend these guys!
Description of Work: Jeff and Scott performed a 5-hour inspection on a serious fixer-upper property. From the roof to the foundation these guys combed the property and revealed all issues. They also own a termite inspection company and were able to perform these services as well. ADT was onsite first thing as well to provide a check of the security system, but there was none. Jeff and Scott took 50 pictures EACH and included them in the report to clearly display all problems. They provided me a proofed and color printed copy of the report before we left and sent a PDF version a few hours later. MAKE SURE your inspector takes pictures!! Many don't and some consumers think it is not allowed. It is and your inspector should be taking pictures!!
