Second Home Furniture

I did not hear from them for 6 months and stopped by one day when I was in the neighborhood. The sofa was gone so I went up to the lady at the desk and told her my name and she looked in a binder then out of nowhere she became defensive, and said yes the sofa had sold. I asked her why they had not contacted me and she said they were not responsible according to the contract I signed to notify me of the selling of my sofa. I told her I didn’t recall that in the contract she asked me where my contract was I said at home I just happened to stop by. She still ina defensive posture said the contract says you are required to check with us and that after a two month time frame if we sell the merchandise and you do not call us you forfeit your portion of the sale. Just beware of signing anything with these people they are not up front about all the terms in their contract.
