I have lived in Lewisville for over 30 years and upset with myself I waited so long to use them I have literally wasted thousands, worst was the local Ford Dealer whom just kept on adding on parts at my expense to trace/eliminate a problem they never understood (was over their head I guess because it was a 95 F 150 ) to fix and which was never found, so I bought a bunch of crap I did not need. I got a very slight discount from them and in the end after replacing numerous parts (solely under the hood), the computer brain, me adding a new AC system for $1200 saying they thought they finally fixed it, they finally and quot;tracedand quot;: the problem to me and quot;needing a NEW TRANSMISSIONand quot;. OMG. I had both emotionally and financially had it and ended up just selling a truck I really loved. I asked around later and the opinion of other was that it was simply a Fuel Pump issue that was causing it too stall out - not all the other HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS of stuff that was incorrectly added. BTW, I here they have a New Service Manager now that it supposed to be awesome but I have found my Service Shop from now on at Repairs Unlimited!
Repairs Unlimited may not look all shinny and new from the street and their website may not be all flashy, but this place has something much more important! A heart and sustenance over hype and talk!
I have since taken the rest of my 2 vehicles to Shaunt, a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer with 90K miles and my 2003 Ford F 150 with a 114K miles. My Wife and kids were taking the Mountaineer to Florida and he got me right in the day before to give the SUV a good going over before the 1500 miles round trip. Both checked out OK and just needed oil change. BTY - I added the aforementioned Fuel additive to both as well.
Sorry this is so long..but I never really write these and just want to get the point across..which is..Repairs Unlimited and Shuant...you need to give them a try. Especially if you feel you have been given the run around in the past..and like who would that be that hasn't??
BTW..the 2002 Focus runs LIKE NEW, has much quicker ACCELERATION and the GAS MILEAGE is already improving because of all work performed at Repairs Unlimited
Thanks!
I am a diesel mechanic and I take my car to them when I don't have the time or tools to do the work myself. Their estimates are always right on and we always get our car back sooner than expected. I know they are trust worthy as they could have charged me for things that didn't need to be replaced like most companies do. They only repair what's needed and will inform you of potential problems in the future so you can plan for them.
