I'm 57, had many cars and used a variety of Service Departments and Shops over that time, from Independents to Dealers and FINALLY, found just one that I TRUST! From the first meeting with Repairs Unlimited and Shaunt, whom runs the place, it had nothing ever been short of a pleasant, low pressure, professional experience. I even tested them in the beginning complaining of squeaking brakes and I suggested maybe they need to be replaced on my Mothers (whom had recently passed) 2002 Focus which had not been driven over the last couple of years. Knowing that I had a complete break job only a few thousand miles ago, I was interested in their answer? They did indeed squeak, but I think it was mostly due to the and quot;brandand quot; of brake shoes used and had nothing due to the mechanical workings or safety of the vehicle. And they knowing that the car was not driven much and had sat for a while, It would have been a and quot;Field Dayand quot; to an unscrupulous individual/company. It did have a cold start issue and very rough idle and wanted the car thoroughly gone over as I was planning on making the car my daily driver because of the better MPG, than my other cars, I did want that addressed. Well I left it with them and Shaunt jumped right in looking the car over and within just a few hours he called back and said the and quot;the brakes were fine and the he could live with the squeak if I couldand quot;. He did recommend a tune up (including plugs, wires, COMPLETE fuel System Flush, etc) plus replace the Fuel Filter. I said OK to all of his recommended repairs and said I could pick it back up the same day and the price for all was very. reasonable I thought I also asked to have him check the trunk lock and radio that did not work, but ended up the Radio was fried and the latch was broke and I decided to pass on fixing both as neither was critical to driving the car and he adjusted and inspected both for free. When I arrived to pick up the car, he took the time to take me back to service bay and dig through some trash to show me my old fuel filter which the gas looked like coffee pouring out of. He also recommended a Fuel additive, to clean the fuel system and good for 15K miles. I was familiar with the use of Ethanol in gas and how destructive it can be on your fuel system components and in fact run an additive in all my gas lawn equipment. I said yes to the additive but anyone else but Shaunt, I would have said no too as I'm routinely asked to buy this Snake Oil, additive this, that etc. but now I trusted Shaunt. I have lived in Lewisville for over 30 years and upset with myself I waited so long to use them I have literally wasted thousands, worst was the local Ford Dealer whom just kept on adding on parts at my expense to trace/eliminate a problem they never understood (was over their head I guess because it was a 95 F 150 ) to fix and which was never found, so I bought a bunch of crap I did not need. I got a very slight discount from them and in the end after replacing numerous parts (solely under the hood), the computer brain, me adding a new AC system for $1200 saying they thought they finally fixed it, they finally and quot;tracedand quot;: the problem to me and quot;needing a NEW TRANSMISSIONand quot;. OMG. I had both emotionally and financially had it and ended up just selling a truck I really loved. I asked around later and the opinion of other was that it was simply a Fuel Pump issue that was causing it too stall out - not all the other HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS of stuff that was incorrectly added. BTW, I here they have a New Service Manager now that it supposed to be awesome but I have found my Service Shop from now on at Repairs Unlimited! Repairs Unlimited may not look all shinny and new from the street and their website may not be all flashy, but this place has something much more important! A heart and sustenance over hype and talk! I have since taken the rest of my 2 vehicles to Shaunt, a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer with 90K miles and my 2003 Ford F 150 with a 114K miles. My Wife and kids were taking the Mountaineer to Florida and he got me right in the day before to give the SUV a good going over before the 1500 miles round trip. Both checked out OK and just needed oil change. BTY - I added the aforementioned Fuel additive to both as well. Sorry this is so long..but I never really write these and just want to get the point across..which is..Repairs Unlimited and Shuant...you need to give them a try. Especially if you feel you have been given the run around in the past..and like who would that be that hasn't?? BTW..the 2002 Focus runs LIKE NEW, has much quicker ACCELERATION and the GAS MILEAGE is already improving because of all work performed at Repairs Unlimited Thanks!

I have used Repars Unlimited several times over the past five years and their work is always top notch. I am a diesel mechanic and I take my car to them when I don't have the time or tools to do the work myself. Their estimates are always right on and we always get our car back sooner than expected. I know they are trust worthy as they could have charged me for things that didn't need to be replaced like most companies do. They only repair what's needed and will inform you of potential problems in the future so you can plan for them.

We're a family of five with five licensed drivers and a seemingly endless string of aging vehicles needing lots of attention due to high miles driven.. We've been bringing our cars to Repairs Unlimited for 12 years and we couldn't be happier with their performance and pricing. We've had many occassions when we have solicited multiple quotes for a specific repair need and our confidence in Repairs Unlimited is consistently validated by our findings. Their goal is to make repairs as affordable as possible without compromising the quality of their services, the parts used for the repair, or driver safety. I've referred many friends to them, all have thanked me for doing so. You will too....
Description of Work: They replaced my cracked radiator, replaced multiple hoses and the thermostat, and refilled with antifreeze. They also tested the a/c system and made some minor repairs to the underside of my Honda Oddyssey.
