MOLLY MAID OF DFW METRO NORTHWEST

I hired them for a deep cleaning because I recently had remodeling done which had produces a lot of dust. Molly Maids definition of deep cleaning and my definition differed significantly. After a few hours of being at my house they were done. I first noticed the kitchen still seemed dirty. As they just gently mopped the tile. For a deep clean I would have expected them to use a little elbow grease. As I could still see some spots on the floor. There were marks on the floor that could easily be wiped off if they would have done a detailed job. They left and I started to do a deeper inspection. I wiped my hands on my wood stairs and you can just feel dirt. Its like they didn't even clean them. They were suppose to clean the baseboards but totally skipped that. Picture frames with dust could still be visibly seen. I could see debris pushed into corners which they never vacuumed up. I called and complained and they were back out the next day. I met with their supervisor and she even said it wasn’t up to their standards. After the second cleaning - the floors were still not cleaned to my satisfaction. I was just glad to get them out of my house. For the amount of money that Molly Maids charges you would think they would do an excellent job. You definitely do not get what you paid for with them. They charge high prices but you only get mediocre service.

I've used them for two years now. The price varies, it depends on how much space you have in your house.

There were many problems. They wouldn't move the furniture, or even ask us to move it. Instead they just wiped around. They used feather dusters on very fragile pieces. They had staff that would come with body odor. They would wipe the stairs with a rag and then try to wipe our leather furniture with the same rag.

The two girls did a very good job. They were very friendly and eager to please. The company was very responsive also both in making the appointment and billing but also when I had to call to ask a couple of questions because the girls did not understand English very well. This would be my only issue...that it was difficult to communicate with them. But otherwise, I was pleased.

Used water to clean a customer made dining table.  Left water spots.  Attempted to clean shutters through out the house with water as well.  Left water spots on those as well. Did not dust on top of the shutters.  When we asked the company about the damage to our possessions there was no response. 

Excellent in every way. Good work. Always on time. Friendly. We recommend without hesitation.

We didn't like them and we longer use them. They didn't do a very good job cleaning. My wife complained to their management several times. While they were professional and respectful the situation never got corrected so we just left it to not use them anymore. They were always on time.

My biggest problem was that I couldn't communicate with their maids; I'm not bilingual. I had to go through a central booking. I didn't have a direct telephone number to contact them.

Their teams are outstanding. They keep notes of all of your quirks and preferences. If you leave out a specific cleaning product you prefer they will use it. I feel completely safe with them in my home.

2 ladies who couldn't speak or understand English were sent to clean my empty house that I was detailing for sale. They didn't bring a ladder so cleaning anything above 5 feet out of the question. I called the contact number and told him I was going to get a ladder for the girls and expressed my dissatisfaction. He assured me they should have all the tools they need to clean a home. He also gave me a 10% discount.

When I returned with the ladder the girls were using my left over 5 gallon paint buckets and hand signaled me that they didn't need the ladder I had gotten from 25 miles away.

I had to instruct them on cleaning toilets and mirrors upon completion one girl wrote what I owed and I told her about the 10% off and the girl I suppose was in charge insisted I owed whole amount because she hadn't used the ladder.. She finally accepted the discounted rate and wasn't to happy with the outcome

Cleaning is not what you would expect. I had an empty house and they really did a half assed job.

Do not use

They did a real good job. I know they did a good job, because I noticed immediately when I walked in. My daughter paid for it, and didn't tell me. The work they did was very noticeable. They even did the baseboards.

They are wonderful. They come for about three or four hours and do an excellent job. I would highly recommend them. They always do a little extra!

We had several failures to communicate. The owner even called - it just wasn't what I had anticipated. It was not a good experience. I paid my bill and moved on. The women who came out were very nice, personable and worked hard - It just wasn't what I was looking for.

It was really clean. They people who actually showed up didn’t speak any English and that was a little frustrating. The price was good. My expectations were set and met. It was kind of expensive, it was $75 an hour. I would use them again in the future for sure.

My husband gave me a $150 gift card for 2 hours of Molly Maid Service in June. I called and scheduled the appointment with a woman named DeDe. We went over the details (I wanted a deep clean) and she said with the size of my house and what I wanted completed - my main wish was mopping the laminate (pergo) flooring throughout my house - that it would be an additional hour at $75.00 more. I agreed. I was told the arrival time would be between 2:30 - 3:00 p.m. The two ladies arrived at 3:35 p.m. which I consider late. I did phone Molly Maid at 3:30 to see where they were and the woman said they will be there 'shortly.' Luckily they did. The two ladies did not speak any English which was a major barrier because I could not explain or tell them anything. After being inside my home for 5 minutes, one of the ladies hands me her phone and a representative at Molly Maid tells me that because of all the blinds in my house and the size of my home (1830 sq ft) that they would need at least 5-5.5 hours total to clean. Let me note, my husband commented an hour before they arrive, "this will be their cleanest house they have had to 'clean' to date!" And.... we have 13 windows total. Only 4 of those 13 windows have blinds on them. The blinds are not the skinny, plastic ones - each blind slat is three inches wide - so there are maybe 35 slats per window. This possibly couldn't take 2.5 more hours to clean. I was shocked. I declined the extra hours and asked her to have them mop (as asked previously) before they leave within the 3 hours they were to clean. Granted the women did a good job at cleaning. There were areas that were obviously missed (dusting) but overall, I was happy with the ladies work. they left at 7:00 and I was charged an addition $112.00 which made my total $262.50. When customer service called to ask me about my experience, I spoke with DeDe and explained everything mentioned above. Her comment? "We have had a lot of staff over the past few weeks and we have since let them go." (via the misscommunication) She was the one I spoke to schedule the appointment! I think their quotes are high compared to others I have received. For our 1,860 sq ft home, it was going to be $100.32 weekly and $132.00 every month. For our size home with no children, I thought this was high and I told her so. I felt that her apology was weak and she didn't seem to care what I thought. I will not book another cleaning with this Molly Maid.

It's been a fantastic experience so far. I have been using them for four months. The two girls I have are fantastic.

Great job. Very responsive. A crew of two was here within 24 hours of my call and spent 4.5 hours cleaning. Very good job. My wife said they cleaned it better than she had - and THAT says a lot. We would use them again.
