Mike was booked out about 4 weeks into the future due to the abundant rain we had in April and May. However, he was scheduled to be in my part of town for another job and was able to do mine at the same time. There was still some rain affecting the scheduling, but Pam did a great job of keeping me informed. Mike did a great job and probably removed a couple of cubic yards of dirt, roots and weeds. Tire tracks from his bobcat on my lawn were minimal. After I paid him, I noticed him shoveling mud tracks from his bobcat out of the street. Great attention to detail.

When our 12x24 above ground pool came to its end of life, we
decided to remove it including all the decking and restore our backyard.
About twenty five years ago, the 4.5? pool was installed approximately 3 feet below
the surface.  After we removed the pool we were left with a huge 12x24x3
foot hole, in addition to all the area that was once occupied by the decking.
Then, after demolishing the deck and removing the pool we realized we were in need of a lot
of soil to be filled in and a lot of material to haul off.

complete the job.
Prior to delivery of the first truck load of soil, Mike Wells and his son Skyler came by
to finalize the planning.
If you ever want to see an artist work with a ?Bobcat? tractor you won?t be disappointed
watch Skyler his magic.  Not only was the dirt expertly placed (with no
damage to adjacent flower beds, fence, etc.), but he skillfully compacted and
spread the dirt and top soil as if done with bare hands.  By the time they
were finished they not only neatened the area up, but also hauled away all the
heavy materials which we were unable to.

I was very pleased. They did what I wanted on time. Mike LISTENED to what I wanted and what my concerns were and then made the job happen with obvious experience and expertise. I flagged sprinkler heads and they not only worked around them but communicated what difficulties might arise where space was tight. The job ended up costing more than the original estimate because I increased the scope of work but his and his son's communication and flexibility were strong throughout the project. I did some of the hand work myself and they were very willing for that to happen. Since I was in the work area I was able to see first hand that safety is important to them. Not sure I have the cost right since this is written 6 months after the work was done.

Showed up on time, had an alright price, and came the same day to finish the work. He did a great job.

Mike did a great job. He responed quickly to our request for a bid, provided good counsel regarding the best and least expensive way to achive our goal, and had the lowest cost estimate from 3 bids. Completed the work in about half the time estimated by others. We couldn't be happier. Wed' hire him back again without hesitation!
