I spoke with Bryan to schedule an estimate and I had a quote by noon the next day. The quote was several hundred dollars less than another Angie’s “A” rated provider We had paid to diagnose the problem and provide a quote, someone we had used once before and had paid $149 for a Gold” membership. Mike and Will were the ones who did the job and did oversight of the company they use to bore under the driveway. All were very professional and did an excellent job. A note to pass on to fellow Angie’s List members if you are new to needing a main water line replaced: 1) Unfortunately, this is something that is not covered by homeowners insurance because the trouble resides on the property exterior. 2) Know that this is a job that requires coordinating and planning with multiple steps. Allow a week for the plumbing company to schedule the work and also issue dig request to mark utility lines plus requesting city permit and inspection. 3) Get at least two quotes Including any special financing offers. The other company who had a much higher quote did offer 18 months no interest financing, but this is something we did not need for our situation. 4) understand what you are getting with the quote.. Our quotes also included a new backflow preventer and new shut off valves to the house and one year warranty. 5) Check all your faucets after the job is complete. We had one faucet where the cold water was running slow water pressure, and Mike came out to clear the problem, no charge. 6) Check multiple ways to learn about plumbing companies in your area. I happened to first find out about Lewisville Plumbing in a phonebook yellow page ad. So we also went on Angie’s List to see if they were listed and as an “A” provider.

We've used the services of Lewisville Plumbing twice, with fantastic results. Each time, they called promptly and scheduled, then called again when they were ahead of schedule and said they could come early. The problems were fixed correctly and professionally.

It went fantastic. I use them all the time. I have been using them for 3 or 4 years, since I have been down here in Texas. They know what they are doing. They come out and they are on time. They get the job done.

I had one problem where my washing machine overflowed. I had two other companies out and they could not fix it, but they still charged me. Lewisville Plumbing came out and fixed it. They have been out four or five times within the last year or so.

It is owned by Mike. They were recommended by another friend and she spoke well of them too. I live in a kind of expensive neighborhood and they do not jab me. They are absolutely wonderful, on time, and dependable in their work. They are in my permanent rolodex.

They are a fairly priced, hourly based plumbing company. Half the time the owner comes out which is nice. They do a great job and don't try and screw you on price, like other "job based" companies.

Arrived on time, was professional & personable. Did the great work quickly. I have used them twice before & was just as satisfied this time too. I found the cost for what was done reasonable.

The plumber arrived on time and went to work. We shut off the water to the house and he attempted to unscrew the faucet from the pipe. On the first attempt it was apparent the faucet was not going to easily unscrew from the pipes in the wall, necessitating cutting a hole in the wall on the inside to see what the problems were. When the house was built 24 years ago, the inside pipe was not strapped down correctly. On the second attempt, with my holding the pipe in the house, we managed to get the faucet to come loose, but it broke the pipe inside, which is basically why I did not want to do this myself. He was able to replace the faucet and solder the connection to the pipe in the wall. He additionally braced the connection in the wall so that the faucet should be able to be replaced easily, if needed in the future. Very glad I did not try to do this one myself.

They replaced a gas water heater. It went every well. I'd had them out several months ago for an estimate, but I didn't have them do it until recently. They were on time, they were friendly, they did their job and they cleaned up after themselves.

Very well. They came out for emergency to turn on house water because old water taps were corroded and the countertop guys turned off outside main cutoff to whole house. Then, they came back two days later to install the new sink fittings etc.

Called the company at 8:15 a.m. and had a serviceman at the house by 9:30 a.m. Very personable and professional plumber answered the call and completed the work promptly, even though he had to make a parts run. Very satisfied with the work, especially since the the original call was for only the water heater. After checking in with the office he repaired the drain pipe problem.

The thing that I liked most about this company was that it didn't take them long to do what they had do. They charge by the hour, so I really appreciated the fact that they completed the job within an hour. They did a good job cleaning up as well. There was only one thing that I wish they would have done differently. I wish they would have been on time to the appointment.

On Wednesday, 2/28, the old tank was removed and the new one installed by Michael, assisted for part of the job by Joel. Moving both tanks was challenging because our water heater is located in the attic; it meant carrying both tanks on pull-down aluminum stairs. On Thursday morning, 3/1, Michael called to set a time for the Town of Flower Mound to inspect the new water heater installation, and I said I could meet the inspector around 2:00. At 2:30, Joe from Lewisville Plumbing called to let me know the inspector was running late, and would be here around 3:00. The inspection went fine. The inspector did recommend we have a WAGS valve installed, and said it should cost around $125.00. The valve prevents flooding by turning off the gas and water to the tank if water starts to leak into the pan. I'm going to ask Robin about that when things calm down here, and perhaps write another report.

Mike and his helper were on time, polite, and offered options for what needed to be done. They gave an accurate estimate. The price seemed high, but I think most plumbers are expensive. They came the same day I called for service.

He was very professional and pleasant. He had to come back out and fix a problem but they did it with out a problem.
