The trim would was well done. He was able to cope the trim so that it matched well with the existing trim. The cabinets were well done. The wood shelves were made with MDF versus wood, however I didn't specify that I would have liked plywood. He was punctual and quick. However, there was a miscommunication and he finished earlier than expected. He became very adamant that he be paid immediately and in cash. I had already given him half the money to pay for materials. I hadn't been home to see the finished product and told him that he could either wait until I got home or pick up the money in the morning. After some long discussions, I ended up meeting him halfway to Lewisville to give him the money that night. It was frustrating that he wasn't more upfront and flexible with payment.

"I DID WHAT THE HOMEOWNER WANTED, AND DID WELL. THE DAY OF THE WORK I HAD 101 TEMPERATURE AND WAS NOT FEELING VERY GOOD. I DID GET FINISHED SOONER THAN EXPECTED. WHEN,I ASK HER ABOUT GETTING PAID, SHE SAID, I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE FINISHED WORK, I SAID O.K. I ASK HER TO MEET AFTER SHE SAW THE WORK. SHE SAID, HER AND HUSBAND WAS GOING OUT TO DINNER THAT NIGHT, AND WOULD MEET AFTER DINNER. I WANTED TO MEET HER BEFORE DINNER, BUT I AM SINGLE FATHER, AND HAD TO PICK UP MY SON AT DAYCARE BEFORE SIX O'CLOCK. SO, SHE AGREED TOO MEET ME HALF WAY BETWEEN THE JOB AND WHERE I LIVED. THATS WHAT WE DID. AND SHE TIPPED ME FOR JOB WELL DONE!"
