They put a lot of extra charges on there for things that are not your fault so you do not get your security deposit back. My husband took a job so we got an apartment for one year. We left it an excellent condition and I had a cleaning service come in. They even commented on how clean and good it smelled but then they added stuff and charged me $500. The neighbors said how they get you is they say we will put this on your credit. They said they had to replace the carpet and when we moved in we complained about the carpet and they cleaned it and patched one area but when we left they charged the carpet and there was nothing we could do about it. We even talked to the owner and he said there was nothing we could do about it. I said it was unfair. The place was not old and they said the carpet was dirty so I said clean the carpet and they said it could not be cleaned. I had it cleaned with their carpet company they recommended 4 months before we left. She was going to add stuff about painting and when had mentioned the pictures on my cell phone she took all of that off and then said the carpet needed to be replaced.
