solder my rings together BUT I need to mention they are under new
management and I ADORE the new people. Harold's tech made a ring for me
from a picture. IT was AWFUL but at a later date I took it beck and the
new owners tech redid it and I LOVE IT.

The customer service at this store is horrible! Asked for a watch battery to be replaced. Associate said the battery may not be the problem because when she changed it, the watch still did not work. She said their watch repair man would be there the following day so we left it for repair quote. Told they will call me tomorrow. A week later I call back and was told they will call with a quote in and quot;a couple of hoursand quot;. Five hours later went to pick it up and take it somewhere else and they said they could probably get that quote in a few days! Harold was an AWESOME jeweler. He would be APPAULED at the way the business he worked so hard to build for so many years is treating his customers.

Quick and easy. He had the job done in less than 2 mins. Liked visiting with the jeweler about the rare coins they sell.

I went in to Harold's to get an appraisal on a watch I had inherited. The jeweler took his time to explain to me the ins and outs of the watch, why it was valued as it was, and the risks I took in just putting the watch in a safe (because it was too flashy to wear). He offered several options to restore the watch to its initial state, which would increase its value, but he was astute enough to recognize that the watch was too blingy for my taste. He suggested that I might be happier to have a high quality watch that would not appear so ostentatious, and offered an even swap. The watch he received will be valued more than the watch I received, but only after he puts quite a bit of work and $$ into it. The watch I now have is elegant and appropriate, and gets worn every day. He also gave me some suggestions on what I could do with other pieces I inherited.
