Golden Tree Maintenance

This was the most reasonably priced company I found after getting a few estimates. I saw their sign in a neighbors yard. They are very good about shaping trees and advising you on any questions you might have.

Everything went very smoothly. Crew was efficient, courteous, & responsive. Did a great job on clean up. House & lot looked so much better when they completed the job. We were very pleased.

The arrived when they said they would, did a fine job of trimming the tree, and cleaned up after themselves.

I received an initial quote from another tree trimming place in Denton.  After talking to a guy at work, he stated what they were wanting to charge me was outrageous and referred me to Golden Tree.  They came out and quoted me the next day.  The price they quoted me was LESS THAN HALF of what the other people were going to charge.  We agreed upon the price, and they came out today (the next day).  They were done in less than two hours.

It was very easy to get set up, I called them and Chris came out to do an on-site estimate. He gave me the date for the removal, the team came out, due to the size of the tree it took them 2 days to remove the tree and the stump from the yard. The entire operation went very smoothly and I was very impressed with the quality of the service they provided for me especially in removing all of the branches and debris from the yard.

WOW! I called Wednesday on my lunch break to schedule an estimate for trimming 4 trees. Within 2 hours they called saying they were close to my house, confirmed what I wanted an estimate for, and called back 30 minutes later with a detailed diagnosis, action plan and estimate. We scheduled the job for Thursday, got a text that morning with a time, and when I got home from work everything had been trimmed beautifully, the yards cleaned, and branches hauled away. It was like magic! Wish everything could be this easy!

They were excellent! They did a really good job. Hopefully it will last a little long. They chipped everything and took it away, and cleaned everything up. They came out and did an estimate right away. We had it easy in making an appointment with them, they were very polite, and they did a great job on the trees and on the clean up. I would recommend them. They were reasonable. I have no complaints at all.

I am not a paid customer which makes my story even more intriguing. My neighbor was having some work done and on my way home from picking up my children from school I realized they were getting ready to shred a bunch of large branches to take them off of my neighbors lawn. I had a huge pile of brush on my yard, although only huge from my perception. I figured it would take them less than five minutes to shred on their commercial machinery. I asked them to stop by and pointed towards my home. The man I spoke with only had limited understanding of English, but his body language suggested that they would stop by when finished. Around an hour later I realized they hadn't stoped by and I looked outside to see if they were still down the street. They weren't, however my pile of brush was gone! I am so impressed with their willingness to help me out with a small job for free. This goes a long way to showing their customer service philosophy. I will be a customer this fall. Thanks!

They cut the tree down and hauled away all brush and debris from it. They ground down the stump and got rid of it as well as the roots.

They're very, very good and very reasonable.  They come out when you need them, and they're very, very good at their job.  In addition, their prices are very reasonable. 

The work they did was fine, but they need to improve on billing and communication.  They first gave me an estimate with a total
figure of $1028.  The plan was to do most of the work on one day and come back a week later to grind out the stump and roots.  After they left the first day, I received a bill for $1,028 which I paid.  A week later they came back and did the stump and roots, and then I got a second bill for an additional $100.  
When I called, they told me that the additional charge was for the stump grinding.  I looked at the estimate again, and sure enough, there was a $100 line item for grinding the stump, but it wasn?t included in the $1,028 bottom line total.  I asked why the $100 wasn?t included in the total, and the explanation was that it was done on two separate days and billed separately.  Huh?  Ikept asking about the estimate and he kept talking about the way they  bill.  Finally I told him I would pay the $100 but I wasn?t a happy customer.
They do good work, but go over your estimate in detail before doing business with them.

After my call to Golden Tree for a quote, Chris called with my quote within a couple of days.  The quote was very competitive with the other two quotes I had been given.    Chris was very professional, so I decided to go with Golden Tree.  The trees were trimmed within a week or so of my go ahead to complete the work.  All of the trees look fantastic!  I am very pleased that I chose Golden Tree to provide the service.  I definitely will be using Golden Tree again.
