If you are wanting to be lied to and deceived into thinking you need to pay three times more for what you need done, then go to FifthGear! I needed to have my brakes checked and my AC repaired as it was blowing hot air. They told me that my brakes and rear calipers needed to be replaced and that one of my AC lines needed to be replaced which was “the most expensive part, and would have to be shipped because it’s not available even at the dealership”. Their estimate was $4000, but I could maybe wait on the calipers and save $800. I was shocked. I knew that couldn’t be right and called the dealership for a quote on parts and labor to compare. I always thought dealerships were more expensive, but their estimate to replace all four of my brake pads, my main AC line (which they had, in stock) as well as the filter was $1200. I was told that they’ve rarely ever had to replace calipers and when I took it there they said mine were more than okay. Eckert Hyundai did a great job on my car! And I felt like I could trust them. The massive price difference made me feel like Fifth Gear took one look at me as a young woman and thought “she won’t know any better”. When I called to inform them I couldn’t afford to pay $4000 and would be taking my car back without the repairs I was told “they’re a family owned business and want to help me out, what would I be hoping to pay?” What? I would HOPE to pay the fair and honest price for work and not be cheated out of $2800. My desire was to go to a local business and give my support in these times, but obviously Fifth Gear doesn’t care about their community! I still had to pay $180 for an oil change and an AC check. That also seemed absurd but at that point I just wanted to get out of there. It deeply saddens me that this is how they treat their customers, 10/10 do NOT recommend.

Great people to work with.

I usually drop my car off in the evening using their key drop.  Ricky typically calls me by Noon the next day with the problem identified and the approximate cost to repair. He then orders the parts, completes the repair and then takes my credit card over the phone to pay for the repair.  I have him lock my keys in the car and pick it up that evening.  Occasionally a repair may take more than one day depending on the difficulty and how fast he can get the parts.  When I don't repair it myself I almost always use Fifth Gear for the repair.

They are a great car repair shop. They are the only people who touch my car. Their prices are very fair. They are very responsive.

All in all, their prices are a bit higher than some shops, but they do excellent work.  I have not had to come back to have any work re-done.  They are very professional and courteous.  They are also very accommodating (offered to Pick up/Drop off, including getting kids from Day Care).
Work was completed on time and within budget.  All services were explained completely before starting and summarized after finishing.  They made sure any questions I had were answered to my satisfaction.

They are very good, honest and dependable. I feel that they want to make sure you are happy with their work. I will use them again and I have in the past.
