They were really good. They were very friendly. They seem to know what they were doing. They did everything in a timely manner. Informed me on what was going on.

The first visit was fine but the second was not. Gerald was the manager and he had a wrong/bad attitude. He wanted to do a full tune-up service that I thought was unnecessary. I wanted to only replace one coil and one sparkplug and he wanted to do all of them. I wanted to wait to do the full tune up when my friend could take care of it. We struggled to agree on what work needed to be done. He wanted to charge me for all six plugs and I refused to pay for all of them. He insisted that the work I requested could not be done but I knew it could be. I felt like he was more interested in getting my money rather than helping me fix my problem. After they replaced the coil and plug in my car I came to pick it up and drove away and my AC was completely out. When I asked to talk to the mechanic the same manager was so rude. I wanted to inquire about what had happened to my car but they refused to let me talk to him. I don't understand why this was such a problem. My AC was fine before I took it in and now it doesn't work. I do not appreciate Geralds poor attitude. I will never go back to get my car serviced there again.

They did very well, replaced the front brakes and explained the issue with the vehicle

I own a foreign car, Passat. Which is a cause for dollar signs in the majority of most mechanics, but not at brakes plus.
The Volkswagen dealership estimated a higher quote that I felt was fair, but after talking with a friend they suggested Brakes Plus. Boy, am I glad I listened. Excellent service, professionalism, fair prices, excellent communication, no extra money making scare tactics, as far as suggesting what I needed to be done or the car would explode in 30 seconds, seriously guys, auto repair is my worst nightmare. There seems to be no more honesty in the world, but not with these guys.

Had to get a number of flushes done (per Manufacture) guidelines and Brakes Plus looked them over and told me I did not need all of them because the fluids looked good.

Additionally, the timing belt replacement was $300 cheaper than dealership (so are flushes, oil changes, brakes and rotors).

I didn’t get any service done at Brakes Plus. I contacted them for two different services, brakes and shocks. It was $140 for the brakes. I had done a regular oil change at another service center and they told me that I needed to have my brakes replaced. So I went to Brakes Plus and I told them that I needed my brakes replaced. They then did the inspection and told me that I actually didn’t need to have the brakes replaced. They kind of walked me through and showed me the actual problem. I would give them high marks since they told me that it wasn’t required instead of easily earning money. They were honest. I was happy with them for saving me money and I did fix the shocks myself. I would definitely use their services in the future too.

I got really high estimates from other shops. A friend recommended Merlin's. They gave me an awesome price on the repairs. Plus, they were really fast AND friendly. They explained everything that needed to be done and why.
