I was originally quoted a price with the wrong part $433.00. After working with David he was honest and Transparent about what had occurred and made things right. I will continue to use them to service my appliances

Greg was punctual and professional. Most importantly, he listened to me and did not immediately dismiss the issues I was having with my oven as "user error." By a process of deduction, he determined that the main computer board of my oven was broken. Although the quote for the repair was fair, it was going to cost nearly as much as a new oven, so we opted not to have the repair. I would call Action Appliance Repair again and highly recommend them! Also, I want to also mention and thank Greg and Action Appliance Repair for having great COVID-19 precautions in place to keep both their techs and their clients as safe as possible.

I don't know how the repair would be but the professionalism is poor. Called and left a detailed message but no call back.

Very professional service. He was able to tell me over the phone that he did not think he could fix the washer. I had him come to be sure before I spent money on a new washer. He was correct. The washer would have cost more to fix than a new one. However, he took the time to advise me on washer brands that were reliable and answered all my questions. His professional advise was well worth the service charge. Now I know what I want to buy. I highly recommend Action Appliance Repair!!!

He's excellent. He would get all "A". He called me back when I put a call in, he came out the next day. I had water in my washer and he fit me in and fixed it. He's really good, professional, shows up right when he's supposed to. The one blessing is when you tell him what the problem is, he has all the parts with him.

I cannot rate this visit high enough (it was that good). This is EXACTLY the experience you would like to have when you have to call someone in for a repair. My front load washing machine started throwing a code over this past weekend that stopped it dead in its tracks. I called Action yesterday, they responded immediately and came out today and fixed my washer in a flash for a price that was less than I had ever imagined! Anyway, I'm definitely keeping Deimy Garcia's card as he was not only fast, he was professional, friendly and funny as well. FYI: Deimy rhymes with Jamie

It was completely fixed. I was informed of the how it happened (rubber backing detached from a kitchen rug) and what was done to fix it (remove trapped water and cleaned filter) and also advice going forward. That's professionalism! The Repairman also drove outside his service area to help me. "A" rating deserved!

Scheduling was quick, prompt arrival. Having experience in washing machines showed. A surprising amount of tear down is required for this part, the work was routine for Action Appliance. Done quickly and recommendations provided on future washer care.

Great, professional service. Unstacking my washer and dryer went quickly and Damien quickly diagnosed why my washer was making so much noise and explained it to me. It needed two shocks replaced that likely had gotten broken during moving or shoddy installation with the units were stacked.
Because it's tricky to schedule things with me on weekdays because of work, he was able to find the needed parts from a nearby supplier that was open. Left briefly to pick them up, returned to finish the job and cleaned up afterwards. The washer is working perfectly now. Feel like he went above and beyond to make sure everything was fixed and working correctly.

Wonderful!! Very personable and professional!! He did the work very quickly; and it took less time and cost less than he originally quoted because of the proximity of my dryer to the outside wall and my one-story home. Showed me what he had done, and it was noticeably improved! Was also able to accommodate my schedule with a last-minute appointment.

Damian arrived spot on time.  He and his cousin cleaned out a large wad of lint from the vent, but there was still a blockage.  They went up to the attic and found that the mesh on top of the vent was clogged with a mixture of wet and dry lint to make a paper mache-like blockage.  They removed the mesh, put the vent tube back together, and re-attached to the dryer.  They cleaned up after themselves and were done in less than an hour.

My gas dryer was no longer heating up.  Arney happened to be in my neighborhood at the time and came to my house within 10 minutes of my call. He quoted me a range of prices for the various things that could be wrong.  He diagnosed it within 5 minutes and 20 minutes later he was done.  The price for replacing the fuse was what he quoted on the phone.   However, he noticed that there was no cold air coming from the dryer vent to the outside, and there should have been because it was only 30 degrees outside.  He correctly recommended having the dryer vent cleaned out before using the dryer and recommended someone to do it.

Deimy called me right away about my LG front load washer after two providers turned me down due to my location (south of LBJ) and for not servicing LG products. He asked excellent questions and knew right away what the issue was. He scheduled me for the very next day and came with the correct part in hand. He called 30 minutes before his arrival, was exactly on time for the one-hour window we set, and fixed the machine in about an hour. When he was done, he explained which parts might still be under warranty and what to watch for in the future. He also made an excellent suggestion to get a flood warning system given that my laundry room is upstairs and my appliances are more than 5 years old. Excellent job and I will keep his card and call him again!

This is a fairly new business, and we were very impressed  with Deimy's promptness, curteousness and professionalism.  Before he even started the job, he told us what the cost would be.  If we have an appliance problem in the future, we will definitely call Action Appliance Repair!!!

They were really good and excellent. He made the preliminary diagnoses on the phone and provided me an estimated cost and asked me about my model number so when he came he's sure to have the part based on what he thought that problem might be. When he came out, sure enough he definitely diagnosed all the problem and he showed me the old part and the new part. He spent some time explaining me what was wrong. He gave me some discount. He's really knowledgeable. I would use him again in the future.

I originally called JB Appliances just to order parts for my dryer and I was going to do the repairs myself, Arnie was willing to work with me in any way he could help.  After reading some other reviews on another service about Arnie I decided to just let him come out, charge me for a service call, and install the parts I ordered.  Good thing I did, I has misdiagnosed the problem and Arnie was able to repair my dryer with fewer parts and for less cost than I originally thought.  I was very impressed with Arnie's honesty and integrity.  One more thing, he was able to do all this in a matter of hour after my original call the day before the fourth of July holiday!

The first appliance repair shop I called would not work on Samsung (or LG). I called another who called JB's. The person I spoke to was pretty sure it was a burned out pump motor and said he would get back to me as to whether he had any in stock. I never heard back that day (which was ok since I was also dealing with A/C problems). I called the next day and they had Damian call me. He said he had a part that might work. Turns out this specific model year of this washer had a poorly designed mount for the drain pump and a heavy load could break it. Samsung redesigned the part the next year to be more robust, but it would take some creativity to make it work on my model. Happily, Damian opened up the washer and determined only an electrical terminal had broken, not the pump. So he replaced it and everything worked as expected. He only charged me for the labor. Now I know not to put heavy loads in the machine so hopefully I can avoid breaking the drain pump.

Would recommend highly. Called in the morning and they were out just after lunch to repair our dryer heating element. Went above and beyond and at a great price as well. Do not hesitate to call on JB Appliances!

The technician was able to come to our house the day after we called him.  He showed up on time and was very friendly and knowledgeable.  He diagnosed the problem quickly while showing me all of his tests along the way.  He offered his solution along with the price and professionally confirmed that we would like him to proceed with the work.  We agreed and he fixed the problem and even helped set up the dryer in such a way to get better performance.  We appreciated his professionalism, kindness, and a dryer that finally works again!!!  Thank you!
